“A Link to the Smash” Trailer Showcases the Hero in Green and Offers A Special Free Game Download

For those Zelda fans who are on the fence about Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo UK has a trailer with a focus on our hero. In the recently released “A Link to the Smash” video, Nintendo interviews Smash fans (some in costume!) regarding how they feel about the new game and how Link plays in it. Those interviewed seem to agree that Link has been improved since previous entries and is a very versatile character (e.g. long-range attacks, short-range, etc.), although some note that the new characters are their favorite parts.

If the excitement of these players and the trailer in general are not enough to convince you take the plunge for portable Smash, the end of the video announces the chance for a free game download. If you purchase both a 3DS and a copy of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and register them both on Club Nintendo, you will have the opportunity to download a free game, including A Link Between Worlds. Not a bad offer for those out there who still don’t own a 3DS (or are looking to upgrade).
