“3rd Quest” Mod Being Made for Ocarina of Time

A modding team is busily working on a custom mod for Ocarina of Time, giving us, essentially, a whole new game. The project is called 3rd Quest, and is to have brand new locations, dungeons, puzzles, music and more, all running on Ocarina of Time‘s engine. This could turn out to be one very impressive mod, so make sure to check out their site for updates!

After the widely disappointing cancellation of the Zelda URA Restoration project, it is good to see that some people still wish to make new experiences for Zelda fans based on Ocarina of Time. I like the new music they are using, and the new locations and textures look quite good. I hope that the modders are able to implement some new bosses, or at least some new enemies of some sort. That would be going above and beyond.
