25th Anniversary Orchestra Main Theme Medley – Better Quality

A video was posted about the recording of the Zelda 25th Anniversary Special Orchestra CD. It features the orchestra playing the Main Theme Medley. It can also be viewed on the Nintendo 3DS via the Nintendo Video app. It is also a higher quality version of the video we had posted about earlier. Make the jump to see the video and my thoughts on their performance.

I must say that I like how they performed the song. When it got to certain parts of the medley it took me back to when I was first playing each game in the series. An example of which is when they performed Hyrule Field portion I immediately thought of the part in A Link to the Past when I first emerged out of the Sanctuary after saving the Princess Zelda from the Castle Dungeon. I also loved the little Zelda Secret melody that they played near the beginning of the song. I thought it was a nice touch.
