Stagnox, Armored Colossus is the first boss that Link encounters in Spirit Tracks. It is the final boss of the Forest Temple. Stagnox also appears later on in the game in the Take 'Em All On challenge mini-game.

Battle

To defeat Stagnox, stand still or run around him, so that he will attack Link. When that happens, run to the purple part behind him and use the Whirlwind and attack him.

In the second part of the battle, he will fly at Link and throw Blastworms. Attack them and blow Blastworms with Whirlwind to Stagnox when he flies down to attack; he will be stunned, allowing Link to attack. Repeat the process numerous times until he is defeated.

Trivia

• In the European version, the name of Stagnox is different from the American version. Instead of "Stagnox, Armored Colossus", it is '"Stagnox, Armored Beetle".
