The Shop Guru Statue is an item in The Wind Waker. It is the final and most expensive item in the Trading Sequence. The statue is meant to look like Zunari.[1] It is said to be one of the most coveted items by businessmen, and Link carries it in his Delivery Bag.[2]

The Shop Guru Statue is used to gain the Piece of Heart at the end of the sequence. The Traveling Merchant of Greatfish Isle tells Link that he came from distant lands in hopes to obtain the Shop Guru Statue.[3] He claims that it is a statue of a man who has achieved greatness in business and wonders if one of the other two merchants has it.[4]

Link can obtain the Shop Guru Statue from the Mother and Child Isles merchant. If Link shows him a Postman Statue, he offers Link the Shop Guru Statue.[5] However, Link must also pay 200 Rupees.[6] After trading for the item, they form a merchant's oath, and the Mother and Child Isles merchant sends shipments of the statue to Zunari's Shop.[7] When Link returns to Windfall Island, Zunari will be selling the item for 200 Rupees.[8]

Link can then take the Shop Guru Statue to any of the three merchants. If he returns it to the Mother and Child Isles merchant again, he gives him another Postman Statue and requires 100 Rupees.[9][10] It is the same Bomb Island: a Postman Statue for 100 Rupees.[11][12]

However, on Greatfish Isle, the merchant is overjoyed to see the Shop Guru Statue at long last.[13] As thanks, the merchant gives Link a Piece of Heart.[14]
