— In-Game Description[1]

The Gold Joy Ring is a Magical Ring that Link acquires in Oracle of Ages. The ring can only be collected in Oracle of Seasons through the Ring Secret.

In Oracle of Ages, make the way to the Rolling Ridge Base in the Present. Enter the first Cave, as if Link was climbing up to Rolling Ridge for the first time again. This is the area where the Goron Elder was trapped beneath some rubble. On the first floor, head up the staircase found at the southeast corner of this room. On the second floor, Link finds a Goron pacing back and forth at the top of the screen. Place a Bomb against the middle of the wall on the east end of the room. Link can tap against the wall with the Sword first to find the correct location as it makes a different noise than usual. Open the Treasure Chest to get the Seed Ring that becomes the Gold Joy Ring when appraised.

When equipped, the Gold Joy Ring doubles the value of every Rupee, Recovery Heart, Ore Chunk, Bomb, Arrow, or any other item that Link picks up from defeating enemies, or from finding them under bushes or underground. This is one of the most powerful rings in the game and it completely makes the Red Joy Ring, Blue Joy Ring, and Green Joy Ring obsolete, as it does everything those rings do, put together.
