A Fortune Link is a Game Link Cable function featured in Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. Link accesses the feature by speaking to the Blue Snake in either game using a Game Boy Color while connected to another Game Boy Color with the opposite game. By doing so, Link will obtain a random Ring to be appraised. It is important to note two things:
- Link cannot obtain any ring that is exclusive to either game through the Fortune method.
- The Fortune Link can only be used between Game Boy Colors, not through Game Boy Advances.
