Over the past six years the Zeldathon Team has sponsored a marathon several times a year to raise money for various charities and to date the team has raised over $625k! Zeldathon does a two or three live streaming events a year where they play through as many Zelda games as they possibly can, including non-canon releases like the CD-i titles and side games such as Hyrule Warriors. Next week, our friends at Zeldathon are once again launching a marathon playthough of every single Zelda game. Beginning on June 19th at 4 PM Eastern, the Zeldathon Deluxe live stream will be raising money for charity as it moves its way across the Zelda franchise. The gamers over at Zeldathon have announced the summer date for their semi-annual Zelda marathon. It all begins Friday, June 19th 2015, at 4PM Eastern Time. As many of you may know, Zeldathon team held their 11th annual week long marathon playing through every game from the Legend of Zelda series, including the infamous CD-i Wand of Gamelon and Faces of Evil, and Zelda’s Adventure. This time around, Zeldathon surpassed their significant goal of $100k with a grand total of $101,621 in donations for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
