Hey everyone! It has been a while. Whether you have noticed or not, this editorial series was put on hold briefly for the release of A Link Between Worlds. The game was much more topical compared to fan art, and the hiatus allowed myself and everyone else to focus on the developments and news pouring in, although, ironically I never actually reported on the game during that time. Anyway, as usual, I will just explain Zelda Artist Exposition in case…

Hello readers! Brian here with the fifteenth edition of “The Best and Worst of Zelda.” This week we’ll be continuing where we left off last week! Don’t forget to comment your ideas for future topics below! Musical instruments have become not only helpful items, but thematic staples in the plot of a Zeelda game. This, I believe, begins in Ocarina of Time and carries through many future games in the series. As we had made it through every game up…

Today’s Zelda Fanart Spotlight is on Deviantart artist HyLian-Of-Ooo‘s fanart, “Lost in the Twilight”. In this fanart it shows Link as Wolf Link and Midna as they are traversing through the Twilight that is covering Hyrule. The colors the artist uses in this piece fit the atmosphere that is shown in these areas perfectly. Link and Midna are greatly dwarfed by the trees surrounding them. The Zelda series has undergone numerous changes throughout its history. As it has advanced, it’s naturally undergone a “streamlining” process, making it more accessible to new players. While this in itself is not bad, it has led to some trends that, when misused, have had detrimental results. The series started out with perfect pacing. Well, perhaps it’s just a phase. *fingers crossed* Either way, this video is engrossing and humorous. The video looks at the games themselves as well as the mysterious Broadcast Satellite, or BS, peripheral for the Japanese-exclusive Super Famicon system. The video is from a website, called ClanoftheGrayWolf.com, a website dedicated to video games,…

Pre orders for this newest piece begin on the 30th of November. Just a couple of months ago, the the company released a Zant figurine. A review and detailed look at the Zant figurine from our forum user “basement24” can be seen here. The teaser image shows small details from the hand crafted sculptures….

Got a new discussion video for you guys! This time I’m going to talk about the two darkest games in the series, Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess, and explain why I think Twilight Princess is a darker game than Majora’s Mask. I know a few of you are a little sick of hearing me complain about Twilight Princess. I’m not complaining here. While I do think how dark the game was ended up being one of it’s weaker aspects, that’s…
