Every Zelda game has its own interesting way of progressing through the journey- be it obtaining Spiritual Stones, obtaining instruments, and so forth. For Skyward Sword, it became an extremely nerve-wracking experience due to the trials known as the Silent Realm. There were a few in there, but even though it may only be a few, that doesn’t make them any less terrifying (if you don’t know what you’re doing from the get-go). It makes me wonder; would Nintendo ever…

As all of you know by now, an HD remake of Twilight Princess, creatively titled Twilight Princess HD, was announced on Thursday with a release date set for March 4th of next year. With the release of the game, it will mean that four out the five 3D Zelda games, a staggering eighty percent, will have been remade. Personally, I find that to be a bit excessive. The last thing I want to do is kill someone’s hype for a…

It’s that time of year again! PBG once again pumps out loads of Zelda content for the month of November, and he’s starting it off with a video of him hacking Skyward Sword, a game that I think most are going to be perfectly fine seeing totally messed with. Trust us. Hilarity ensues. He has also started playing hacked Skyward Sword on his gaming channel, so make sure to check that out, too! Check out the videos after the jump!

Throughout the Zelda series, we’ve seen Link duke it out with Ganondorf on several occasions- each fight with its own means of strategy and mechanics. However, there are a couple that I would like to show off, as they are -no doubt- a couple of my favorite boss fights in video games. But of course, that led me to also wanting to hear about your opinions- so after I’m done showing these fights to you guys, I’d love to hear…

ThatOneShowFUN‘s Austin, host of popular YouTube show Eggbusters, has released Part 2 of his Cross-Examination episode on Skyward Sword. This show is designed to not only educate people on how to properly criticize the game in question, but to also show people the best ways to criticize media in general. In Skyward Sword‘s case, there is a lot of stuff people tend to bash, so knowing how to judge it from an objective and fair way is important for those…

In most Zelda games, you’ll find a specific pattern repeated throughout every dungeon. One of these being the mini-boss of each dungeon and usually, they’re pretty easy to defeat (unless they have something more complicated to them). You can even find them outside of dungeons! There are tons of mini-bosses, sometimes some are brought from a previous installment to another. But the question here is: Which is your favorite? To read more into it, hit the jump to check it…

Zelda has seen some pretty tense moments before, but if you’ve experienced this one I’m sure you can relate (at least somewhat). In Skyward Sword, the player had to undergo trials involving the collection of the goddesses’ tears, while being timed on how quickly he/she may get it done. If that player is unable to find more and lets the timer go down, you can only hope that the frenzy it brings them to is enough to lead them to…

Austin of the ThatOneShowFun YouTube channel, well-known for his popular show, Eggbusters, has a new show called Cross Examination, and the first episode is on Skyward Sword. There are a lot of critiques of the Wii title that regularly float around the web that are of, admittedly, questionable quality. Austin discusses the weak arguements people often use in their internet reviews in the first part of his Skyward Sword episode. Check out the video after the jump.

Wii U owners who wished to play original Wii titles used to have to run their systems through a specialized Wii mode. But no more! Nintendo has announced that they will release specific Wii titles for digital download purchase on the Wii U eShop. This means that Wii U owners can bypass the cumbersome Wii mode and play older Wii games directly from their Wii U dashboard…
