Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has been released for over a week or so, and already it’s proving to be one of the best Wii U titles. The all-out free-for-all has made it big, on both Wii U and 3DS. However, some were able to get their hands on a copy of the game early (before release) for review. Zelda Informer, specifically, made a playlist of videos about the event matches in the title; basing it off of all…

Nintendo has recently updated their Official Japanese A Link Between Worlds site and with the new update come all new peeks at the contents of the game. Within the latest update we get two new videos covering some new unrevealed content. The first video displays the gameplay in various locations and shows a few portals between Hyrule and Lorule. The second video shows the introductory story for the game however it is in Japanese. Also included in the update is…

The good folks at GameXplain have uploaded a series of new A Link Between Worlds videos, including a guide to using the game’s new Tornado Rod item. Also included in the mix is some new new dungeon and overworld footage. All three videos are available after the jump.

There are many games created with inspiration from the Legend of Zelda series. One of the newest titles of such is Skulls of the Shogun. According to the official website, “Skulls of the Shogun is a fast-paced-turn based strategy game where players meet and join forces with vibrant ghost-samurai warriors, magical animal-monks, and mustachioed samurai generals on the way to capture the Skulls of the Shogun.” The founder of 17-BIT, the company that created Skulls of the Shogun for Steam, states…

The Wind Waker/Queen Mash Up

The Zelda community has seen plenty of mash ups in the past, mostly in parodies involving other video game series. What we haven’t seen much of however, is Zelda being put together with pieces of popular music, especially that of the rock genre. Sure, we have numerous musical covers floating around on the internet of familiar Zelda tunes, but the games themselves are rarely affiliated with actual, recognised pieces of music. One YouTube user, obliviousfilms has recently filled this particular…

If you were one of the few among us that were actually able to get your hands on a ticket to go to the 25th anniversary concert at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles than this may look familiar to you, but for those who weren’t as lucky I think this will be as close as we get! The Symphony Concert started at 8pm on the 21st and a ton of fans finally heard what we have all been waiting…

Over the past few days, we have been inundated with new Skyward Sword content, including summaries, videos, screenshots, developer comments, and announcements. Instead of writing an article filled with more theoretical analysis (at this point I might as well wait until the game comes out), I’ve created a list of important new details along with some commentary. Most of the information from GameInformer has already been summarized, so I focused on the three new videos. Nintendo 3DS Conference Video 0:06…

Hey guys! So this video discussion is all about Ganon. Specifically problems with him in some of the games. As I mention in the video, this is not a video of complaints about Ganon himself, but rather how he is treated and implemented in the stories and events of the games themselves. This video (and this will likely become common for discussion videos) is shorter than is typical for me and hopefully a little extra fun. I think this is…
