In the latest sales figures over at VG Chartz, the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has worked its way up to 3,178,433 total sales across all regions. In the most recent week ending January 7th, the game picked up an additional 68,304 sales. Skyward Sword has been on store shelves for several weeks now and sales numbers for the first few weeks are starting to come in. Unfortunately, it’s not all that great for sales numbers in the United Kingdom. In the week ending December 3rd, Skyward Sword pushed out 18,516 copies in the UK alone, giving it a total of 88,955. More important than those numbers is that Skyward Sword finished in 26th place for top game sales during this week alone….

The newest pre-order numbers are now in for the Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword and we have mixed results to report. Last week Skyward Sword picked up 71,354 pre-orders in North America, which is up from 68,675 the previous week. Skyward Sword now has a total of 592,854 pre-orders thus far. With two more updates to this chart, I suspect that Skyward Sword is likely to end up garnering between 750,000 and 800,000 pre-orders for here in North America alone….

The latest Skyward Sword Pre-Order Numbers are in and this week shows a slight improvement for the game. Skyward Sword picked up 38,944 pre-orders during the last week, bringing it to a total of 452,825. These numbers are a bit more promising as Skyward Sword picked up 22,507, 23,198, and 20,938 during the previous three weeks. In the week ending October 1st, Skyward Sword picked up 20,938 pre-orders, giving it a total of 368,176 to date. Of the Top-10 titles on the list, Skyward Sword was the second lowest, finishing only ahead of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations for the Xbox 360. The folks over at VG Chartz track a ton of game sales data and this includes the number of pre-ordered games. Skyward Sword has been on the list of Top 20 pre-ordered games since all the way back in November of 2010. Each week it seemed to garner anywhere between 1,000 and 6,000 additional pre-orders.
