We have seen handheld/console connectivity in Zelda games before, such as the Tingle Tuner in Wind Waker, and the GBA connectivity in Four Swords Adventures. It’s been ten years since the last attempt. With Super Smash Bros. for 3DS able to connect to the Wii U version (serving to transfer custom characters, or function as a controller), what would you think about this for a Zelda game?

As the October release date for Wii U remake The Wind Waker HD draws nearer, many Zelda fans alike have been scouring the internet in the hopes of finding any new scraps of information which could further explain some of the new features that were announced to be present in the game. Luckily, digging for information wasn’t too difficult this time around, as an interesting new screenshot can be found on the official Nintendo website for The Wind Waker HD….
