Zelda games come in many shapes and sizes. They appear on both handhelds and home consoles. They span massive 3D adventures, dense top-down quests, and even a side-scrolling action RPG. Each new installment in the storied series can be very different from the last, and yet there is one thread that is a constant throughout all of the main games: the protagonist, Link. He is the hero of every game, the player character in each installment. And it is he who makes The Legend of Zelda my favorite series of video games. But what is it about Link that makes him such an icon?

Have you ever wanted to cosplay as Link or Ravio from A Link Between Worlds? Even if you don’t, it’s hard to deny the charm that their caps possess. Luckily enough, it seems as if NCSX Games and Toys has opened up pre-orders for both Link and Ravio’s caps. Hit the jump to learn more!

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds has been out for almost a year, so it makes sense that it’s not really the talk of the community anymore, especially with games like Hyrule Warriors and Zelda U on the way. Many still value it as one of the best games in the series, but it hasn’t really gotten a lot of attention in the market outside of the cartridge or eShop. It seems people still prefer to buy products based on Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. However, it is still nice to see ALBW getting recognition in the form of physical products, like these hats for example.

The hats are available for pre-order…

It’s been about a year since the release of A Link Between Worlds, and the hype has finally settled for the title.  But for today, I’ll be drawing us back into a debate for the installment.  A Link Between Worlds featured something that stood out to a lot of us, something to definitely note, and something a Zelda title had never experienced beforehand: Ravio’s Shop. Liam OrthHeyo. My name’s Liam! And I’m a huge Zelda fanatic. Ever since I was a…

In 1986, The Legend of Zelda introduced some of the most recognizable video game superstars of all time, and since then, each new Zelda game has added to the series’s dramatis personae, introducing new characters and re-imagining familiar ones. A Link Between Worlds, the most recent continuation of the Zelda legend, is no different. It brings together a diverse cast of fun and likable characters, doing its best to make each one – no matter how minor – stand out. To celebrate…

An image posted to Reddit a few days ago shows an excerpt of an interview in Game Informer with Hiromasa Shikata, the Director of A Link Between Worlds.

The image shows the text of a question that asks if there any Majora’s Mask references in A Link Between Worlds that we may have missed. The answer given is,

[Having Majora’s Mask in Link’s house] was a special request from Aonuma’s production team. Now why would they ask us to do that? – Hiromasa Shikata

Is Aonuma planning on doing more in the world of Termina? We can’t be certain, but it looks like the signs might be pointing that way. Read after the jump for more!

With A Link Between Worlds still buzzing in everyone’s minds, this week’s comic comes from Brawl in the Family and features Ravio’s Shop! In the game we only see Link buying or renting items from Ravio, but who’s to say that other creatures don’t also use Ravio’s service? This time a moblin plays the role of the customer, and you might be able to guess how he reacts to the steep prices. Hit the jump to read the comic!

How did your Thanksgiving fair? Mine went pretty well, with plenty of turkey, ham, mash potatoes, and all the rest still lingering in my stomach today. Of course, today also marked the true start of the Holiday shopping season in the United States, kicking off with Black Friday, the day that has the most in-store sales you’ll ever see at any point during the year. Of course, I say in-store because Cyber Monday also exists, which brings the best online shopping deals you can find across the board all in one day. That being said, you’re here because I mentioned the words Majora’s Mask and A Link Between Worlds.

More inside. Warning: Spoilers Ahead
