The phrase “it’s dangerous to go alone! Take this” is one of the most well know phrases from the Zelda universe and has been referenced numerous times, not just in other Zelda games. It was this scene that is the focus of a recent short comic by Safely Endangered with an ending that was actually quite touching. See the comic after the jump.  

Egoraptor and friends have created a rap album and week-by-week are uploading videos to go along with the hilarious tunes. This week the Zelda song was up, and though it’s pretty crass, overall it’s absolutely hilarious. The upcoming release of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, one of Nintendo’s strongest platforming series, returns on the Wii U this week and it is bringing some classic Nintendo hints and secrets with it. In a recent photoplasty on Cracked, the Old Man from the original Legend of Zelda placed twelfth in a contest of “If Every Video Game Side Character Got Their Own Franchise”.
