Tomorrow marks the last time we will see a dedicated Nintendo Direct specifically for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS. A lot of mad hype has been going around recently after the reveal of Cloud Strife as a downloadable character, but more crazy reveals could very well be around the corner, for fighters, stages, and maybe even more, like adventure modes, trophies, music and who knows what else. But what about something for us fans of Nintendo’s greatest…

With the announcement last week about Twilight Princess HD launching next year and the snippet of Zelda U that we saw in the Direct, many are wondering what this could mean for the future of Zelda U. Could there possibly be a “link” between the two, could we see some amiibo compatibility between the titles? Could the fact that Eiji Aonuma worked on Twilight Princess and is doing the same with Zelda U, mean that we will see similarities from…

During the European Nintendo Direct the same message of a strong focus and attention to the 30th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series was discussed as we heard on our side of the pond. The one difference that was announced was that European fans will receive Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks on the Wii U Virtual Console. Available now both games can be purchased on the European Virtual Console for €9.99 each, however if you want to get your hands…

There has been plenty of theories regarding “Linkle”, a girl who looks a lot like Link, ever since her first appearance as concept art in Hyrule Warriors‘ art book. Who is she? Is she related to Link? Will she appear in a Zelda game? Well, as of the latest Nintendo Direct we know the answer to that last question. Alongside Tetra, Toon Link, the King and Skull Kid, Linkle makes her appearance as a new fighter in Hyrule Warriors Legends!…

Well, we all saw it coming! Twilight Princess HD, which had already been unofficially confirmed through hacks of the eShop, has been announced in the Nintendo Direct! But what’s more, is that there will be a new amiibo coming out for it of none other than Wolf Link! Plus, the trailer has a short clip hyping up Zelda Wii U right at the end of it! Check out the trailer, the Amiibo, boxart, AND a very small Zelda Wii U…

The time has finally come! Nintendo recently promised a new Nintendo Direct livestream before the end of theyear, and lo and beyold, it is coming real soon! This could very well mean news on Twilight Princess HD, and hopefully, Zelda Wii U updates. That, or Nintendo could be really intent on creating an angry mob, and not mentioning Zelda at all. You never know with the big N, but really, that’s what keeps us hyped up and on our toes….

A few months ago, Aonuma announced in an update video that Zelda U was not only delayed (so to speak), but also that it wasn’t going to make it to E3 this year. I’m sure the majority of you were all bummed, while maybe a few others accepted the fact that waiting longer will make the game better (I know I’m in that boat). However, regardless of how we all feel of the situation, there is a chance we’re still…

Just a short while ago, Nintendo surprised us with a Nintendo Direct Micro that was uploaded to their YouTube Channel and hosted by a “micro” Bill Trinen. In the short Direct Bill talked about several new games that would be releasing this year as well as a few brief details about their focus and activities at E3. One of those topics included talk about the Nintendo World Championship 2015 that will be held on June 14. The full lineup of…

During this morning’s Japanese Nintendo Direct, no ground-breaking Zelda news was revealed, as was expected. However, there was a small amount of Zelda content, as Link appeared fighting two Shadow Links in a game called Famicom Remix. (Yes, Shadow Link, from Zelda II, not Dark Link from Ocarina of Time.) This game appears to be the equivalent of what is called NES Remix here in the West.

Although there was no more major Zelda content in the Direct, it was pretty fun to watch other games being revealed, as well as a new 3DS bundle…

This week we sit down with the pixel artist Michafrar of Jontron fame to talk about the latest Nintendo Direct, Why Nintendo is so confident not having Zelda U at E3 this year, and Adam sings for you guys! Our opening theme is inspired by ReggieInformer this week, thanks to everyone who was with us for that hilarious day. This week’s cast is…
