Considering that we are nearly a month removed from E3 2016, I’m — admittedly — skirting the edge of timeliness here. Heck, I’m probably well past it. In any case, I had the opportunity to spend about half an hour with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at this year’s expo. Going into the show, Link’s next adventure was just about the only game on my mind. I mean, I was looking forward to other titles, but my…

As we get closer and closer to the release of A Link Between Worlds, more and more sites are getting their hands on review copies of the game. Reviews have been nothing but good, with Game Informer going so far as to give it a 10/10! Well, I’ve got news for you, Destructoid is here to kill that streak. Just kidding! Hit the jump to see what Destructoid had to say!

More and more impressions of A Link Between Worlds are flooding in, though they’re apparently not all praise like we’ve seen before. Generally still it seems the new 3DS title is considered a “must buy”, however now there are some heavy complaints, particularly about graphics. Today we have impressions from Nintendo World Report and US Gamer. Hit the jump to see what these two sites said about A Link Between Worlds!

A Link Between Worlds already seems to be a hit amongst the gaming community, even before it’s been released. Even with the short E3 demos last year, people had outstanding opinions of the new title, but now that certain, lucky individuals have had the opportunity to sit down with the game for a few hours, floods of impressions are streaming in. So now that I’ve started Skyward Sword, it’s time to give you guys my first impressions! This video is my initial thoughts on the game, recorded when I was only to the second dungeon of the game. This is not a full review or anything like that, just running over my thoughts. I do include some problems I have with a handful of flaws, but for the most part my views on the game thus far are positive, and I…

Over at Cinemassacre.com, the website most known for the Angry Video Game Nerd videos, MotherF–ker Mike has posted a video detailing his first impressions of Skyward Sword. Starting with what he thinks other reviewers got wrong, he then proceeds to explain what he finds works in the game and what he thinks the game’s flaws are. Near the end, he also begins a short heart piece guide about the ones he has found so far. The video is embedded below,…

Yesterday we updated with some new footage courtesy of Digital Chumps, and today we have two more videos to show you guys. The first video shows off the Lanayru Desert and in particular, the strange color and cart feature we’ve seen before. The second video shows off some gameplay footage of Link within the Lanayru Mining Facility. It actually is quite humorous as the scenes shows Link trying to run across a sea of sand. Make the jump to check…

IGN is at it again with another featured article about Skyward Sword, this time discussing the game’s new controls. Like the previous articles and impressions they posted much of what they had to say was positive. The article also states there will be no waggling through Skyward Sword and that the new combat mechanics are instead very intuitive and work well. Besides all the same positive input we’ve heard before, IGN states a few new interesting tidbits  including some negative…

As you all are certain to know, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition became available for free on DSi and 3DS systems across Europe, Australia, and North America a few days ago. Now that we’ve had some more time to play it, we’d like to give (and, of course, hear) some more first impressions on the game beyond just the tutorial levels. Read on to see what I think.

The folks over at IGN had the opportunity to play through the three demos of Skyward Sword that were available at E3. In the video above, an aerial race is shown where Link needs to collect statues for Princess Zelda while flying on top of a bird. Once the race has started, the Wii remote can be tilted left and right to change direction. You can also move the Wii rmote up and down to fly higher or dive, while…
