In next week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, a special code will be offered that will allow fans to download a Ghirahim inspired costume for use in the “My Fairy System”. This is one of the newest element to Hyrule Warriors Legends, where players will be able to grow and develop their fairies to become quite effective partners to use in battle. Each will have their own special abilities and attributes depending on how you have “raised” them. The exclusive costume…

Just yesterday, this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine was published in Japan and as we shared with you the other day, inside was a four page spread dedicated to the upcoming, Hyrule Warriors Legends. Among the glossy and colorful pages you will find familiar faces such as Ganondorf, Ghirahim, Link, and Lana. There is also some new details about a previously unknown feature called, “My Fairy System”. Stay tuned for more details! For now, jump inside and take a look…

It’s that time again for the cosplay of the week and this time we are featuring the fabulous Ghirahim from Skyward Sword! This cosplay was made by KoryXIII and modeled by cosplayer dtrreu, who embraced his inner Ghirahim. KoryXIII and dtrreu are from Spain, and share the hobby of cosplay – KoryXIII even takes commissions! KoryXIII did an amazing job crafting this costume, while dtrreu proved to be quite the model…

Zelda Informer’s weekly Photoshop Contest is back, and we’re about to get fabulous. This week, you fans will be given the chance to take elements of the Zelda series and construct the finest examples of fabulosity we’ve ever seen. My first reactions to Ghirahim were the same as many fans’ first reactions: “What am I looking at?” It’s obvious that my younger self, trying out the Skyward Sword demo in Target, could not comprehend the sheer majesty of this fabulous villain. The snake-tongued demon we all know and love is what I like to call the perfect villain. The Internet has dubbed him “fabulous”, as I constantly hear him being described. When Skyward Sword was released in 2011, fans went wild with memes and fan art of him. Ghirahim soon received a reputation…

Zelda games have always had at least one villain, usually consisting with the return of Ganondorf/Ganon. But what about the ones that don’t have Ganondorf in it? Such as, Skyward Sword, Link’s Awakening and Minish Cap! Well, I think that makes for an interesting discussion. Who do you think is the best Zelda villain? And for what reason? Insanity? Pure Evil? Or even Fashion? You can read more after the jump! Liam OrthHeyo. My name’s Liam! And I’m a huge…

Though it gets a lot of hate nowadays, Skyward Sword is by no means the worst that the Zelda series has to offer. Sure, the game was linear, sure, the overworld was about as interesting as your AP American Government class, and sure, the game was incredibly padded. However, there are a couple of redeeming qualities to the game. One that I find incredibly interesting is Ghirahim. Hit the jump to take a look back at him.

Monday has come around again, and so has another edition of our weekly Caption Contest. Last week, you all nearly doubled the number of captions compared to the previous week. Admittedly, some of the replies were re-posts or some form of technical issue, but it’s still exciting to see our numbers grow every week. In more than one instance, a text caption and a photo caption were identical. However, only one of those won in a category, so I felt it was only fair to feature both of the users who posted it. Of course, we are continuing the trend of featuring the images and text captions that…

The official Super Smash Bros. Facebook page has posted a screenshot confirming Ghirahim as an Assist Trophy in the upcoming 3DS/Wii U game. What he actually does is still a mystery, but this is quite big news, nonetheless. Check out the post after the jump!
