The manga artist duo known as Akira Himekawa (A. Honda and S. Nagano) who worked on The Legend of Zelda manga series have recently released several unused images of art. The images include Link from Ocarina of Time as well as Oracle of Seasons and were posted on their official Facebook page. They were not used at the time of production for an unknown reason, however Akira Himekawa felt that they were “very special and hope that fans enjoy it”….

Kingdom Hearts/Zelda crossover fanart is not at all uncommon. There are loads of drawings and paintings of custom keyblades and Kingdom Hearts-style outfits for Zelda’s characters, but crafts and large-scale builds are often some of the coolest projects. With Hyrule Warriors having been released in Japan for a month now and the release dates elsewhere getting closer and closer, we all have our questions regarding the game. We all know of Eiji Aonuma and his involvement on pretty much every entry in the Zelda series since Ocarina of Time but now fans are getting the opportunity to put their questions regarding Hyrule Warrios to Mr Aonuma himself. The official Super Smash Bros. Facebook page has posted a screenshot confirming Ghirahim as an Assist Trophy in the upcoming 3DS/Wii U game. What he actually does is still a mystery, but this is quite big news, nonetheless. Check out the post after the jump!
