This new/modified editorial series is an evolution of sorts of Favorite Zelda Moments, where, instead of simply discussing my favorite moments and talking about why I like them so much, I’m going to examine notable moments in the series in general — whether I’m personally fond of them or not — and give my thoughts on them. Ever wonder what would happen if dozens of Zelda fans were all playing an Ocarina at the exact same time? Well this is exactly what happened at the GameCity festival in Nottingham. A group of Ocarina players, some dressed like various Zelda characters, got on stage to play three Ocarina Songs. This included Zelda’s Lullaby, Epona’s Song, and the Song of Time. The songs you play in Ocarina of Time can be split into two major categories, warping and non-warping songs. I thought it might be interesting to explore the non-warping songs. These songs are: Zelda’s Lullaby, Epona’s Song, Saria’s Song, The Sun’s Song, The Song of Time, and The Song of Storms.
