As with past game demos, recipients are given three individual codes to share with friends. Although a memorable and highly enjoyable event, The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary celebrations were put to rest quite a while ago (three years in fact), to make way for newer and exciting prospects in the series. However, it appears that for the people at Nintendo, the event is still fresh in their minds as a special edition of one of the more obscure titles in the series has resurfaced on the eShop, albeit for a limited time only. Hit…

The most interesting part of this? The release date of the digital release is slightly different from the…

Released today for the Nintendo 3DS eShop, the original Legend of Zelda is available for download in Japan. It was previously thought that this title would only be available for Ambassadors, but alas, today the first non-handheld Virtual Console title was released to the public, at least in Japan. We’re yet to learn if this title will be coming to North America outside of the Ambassador program, but I’d bet that we’ll soon see that following a European release, the…

The orchestrated main theme of The Legend of Zelda is heading to the…

During our coverage of The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary concert we were able to show you many videos that were taken by the audience of songs that were played. Today, the folks over at The Bit Beacon have posted the full set list that they recorded from the Los Angeles show. With the exception of a few coughs from the audience, the songs are pretty good quality. Make the jump to hear all of the songs. You can also…

Our friends at Hyrule.net have gotten their hands on the Japanese soundtrack reward for registering Ocarina of Time 3D on Club Nintendo. This CD has 51 tracks from Ocarina of Time 3D including the one orchestrated track that appears in the game. They’re the same songs composed by Koji Kondo in 1998, remastered for the 3DS by Mahito Yokota. The Nintendo of America CDs still haven’t shipped yet, but if you just can’t wait, or are one of the many…
