We’ve all thought at least once, some time or another, about “Why isn’t The Legend of Zelda actually ABOUT Zelda?  Where’d Link come into the name?”  Well, this Bit from Dorkly will show you exactly what it would be  be like if The Legend of Zelda, was actually all about Zelda.  See it after the jump! Liam OrthHeyo. My name’s Liam! And I’m a huge Zelda fanatic. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been in love with Zelda’s rich stories…

I have mentioned before that I love the Triforce symbol, especially the version with the Lofwing motif, but, as well all know, it isn’t just a pretty picture. Like a lot of things in the Zelda universe, there is meaning behind the symbol and, in the case of the Trifoce, each triangle represents a certain trait; Power, Wisom and Courage. Link has the Triforce of Courage, Zelda has the Triforce of Wisdom and Ganondorf has the Triforce of Power. I’m…

Another day, another Dorkly. The gaming site has yet again brought us another silly Zelda spoof, this time a video that plays with a reference to the 1990’s movie Se7en. The video features Link and Ganon facing off in similar fashion to the climactic ending of the movie. However, there is something a bit different here. Make the jump to see the video. Caution: contains vulgar language.

As much as we all love Zelda, there is no end to the times when we want to just sit back and have a little fun with it… and Dorkly has proved this time and time again in the past. Recently, they released another video poking fun at Zelda. This one concerns Link’s uncle from A Link to the Past, making him out to be the sort of (somewhat) lovable bum that some people have for an uncle. Make the…

Dorkly recently posted a new video called “Goodnight, Termina Moon” in the art style of A Link to the Past. The video is a line-for-line parody of the childrens’ book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown which many adults have probably been read in their childhood. Link is asleep in the Stock Pot Inn while the narrator describes the items in the room, even the strange hand sticking out of the toilet in a calm, soothing voice. Looks like Links…

Ever stopped and think how Link actually gains health when he enters a house in Zelda II? Well the guys at Dorkly certainly did, and this recent video pretty much sums up their take on the matter. I must warn you that this video does contain sexual themes, so if your eyes are sensitive to that sort of material, then don’t play the video, or you can go ahead and watch it at your own peril.

A new Dorkly Bits original has been posted, featuring our favorite sword-entity, Fi. Link gets a little frustrated with her constant habit of pointing out the obvious and beeping obnoxiously. The video is hilarious and I can’t say I don’t share some of Links issues with Fi. I mean, I think I might even prefer Navi over her. What’s worse, “Hey Listen!” or Fi’s constant beeping and perhaps not so helpful hints? At least you could control when to ask…

Yesterday we reported on a Dorkly Bits piece titled Zelda’s Boyfriend, but today there is a brand new video out. This one is set in the A Link to the Past world and it reveals Ganon’s true Weakness. Much like all of these Dorkly Video clips, this one is absolutely hilarious. I love the out of the box thinking and it’s very well done. Go ahead and make the jump to check it out.

Over at Dorkly it seems there is almost always something that is Legend of Zelda related that pops up. This recent video shows Link from the original Legend of Zelda defeating Ganon and saving Princess Zelda. There is catch though, instead of Link getting the girl at the end, Zelda’s Boyfriend shows up? It’s quite humorous and a unique take on the whole Link and Zelda relationship. Go ahead and make the jump to check out the video.

The folks at Dorkly have released another video featuring Legend of Zelda This time showing Link having a yard sale selling off the many items he has picked up over the years for spring inventory cleaning. Included in the vieo are a few familiar faces from the series and their reactions to Link’s spring cleaning.
