Ever since I played Twilight Princess, which felt like a massive adventure filled with content to me, I’ve been waiting for the next Zelda game with the same sense of scope.  Now, about seven years and two new Zelda games later, I sadly feel that the amount of proper extra content within Zelda games has only been declining.  If you want to read more about this development, and why it might be happening, jump in for more.

One of our network sites, GenGAME, has posted an article that makes the claim Skyward Sword is simultaneously the greatest and the worst of the Zelda franchise. The writer, Alex, believes that the core of Skyward Sword is solid, however the whole of the game doesn’t deliver the content fans expect in a Zelda title. Though you may not agree, the article does inspire thought about not just Skyward Sword, but also other Zelda games, and even video games in general. Hit the…

Most of the Skyward Sword guides had been completed shortly after the release of the game back in November of 2011. However, we are still working to perfect some of these pages by adding fancy maps, videos, more screenshots, and upgrading the descriptions. The most recent page addition comes in the form of our revamped Skyward Sword Gratitude Crystal Guide. Caleb has updated this page, making it look all spiffy with the addition of tons of images and a much…

We’ve been hard at work at getting all our content completed as quickly as possible. We officially launched the Skyward Sword Walkthrough earlier this morning, but we have an update to it. One of our primary goals is to get complete screenshots of the game to complement the text guide and we are almost done with that. Chapters 1-15 already have screenshots included and this updates adds screenshots for Chapter 16, covering the Song of the Hero. There are only…

With Link’s Awakening confirmed for the 3ds virtual console, it sure seems like an inevitability that both the Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages will becoming soon as well. With that in mind, we currently are working on rebuilding our Oracle of Ages Walkthrough. This walkthrough in particular has been one of the glaring holes here at Zelda Dungeon as even 9 years after the games release, we have yet to provide a complete walkthrough for the game. Rest…

Here at Zelda Dungeon we are on the brink of launching several new projects in the next few weeks and months, but we need a couple of additional writers in order to achieve our goals. In particular, what we are looking for are people that can write detailed descriptions and strategies of specific Zelda related events within games. We have a couple of elaborate projects in the works, but in order to bring this to fruition, we need a couple…

So here it is, guys, the last Curiosity Shop before E3! Next week’s going to be one hell of a party, expect some big things! Until then, I’ll try to keep you satiated with some discussion videos. The questions and their timestamps are: (00:30) – You said you wanted less dungeons, but what if the dungeons were done well? (01:15) – What do you think is the hardest game in the series? (02:18) – Do you think Midna will be…

Brandon? Who’s Brandon? Didn’t he say he was going to retire from content writing after he did The Adventure of Link? Well, yes. But I have risen from the dead, with a vengance! No, just kidding. The A Link to the Past section on the site has now been remade since it first got created seven years ago. Check out the new A Link to the Past Section. A couple notes: the enemy guide is still not complete. Enemy Guides…
