Akira Himekawa recently announced that they’d be producing another full length Legend of Zelda manga, however, they did not reveal off of what game the manga would be based. Well, Brian Gabriel of Hammerspace has deducted that the likeliest candidate is Twilight Princess. Himekawa had released scrapped concept art for a Twilight Princess comic some years ago, and looking at the silhouette of Link in the recent announcement picture, it’s clear that the design was pulled straight from the Twilight…

Now that Hyrule Warriors has been released worldwide, we can all experience what Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have been able to produce. I’m not sure how long the game was actually in development for, but the final product has turned out to be a highly entertaining experience. As always, there were plenty of ideas and concept arts created during the games development and some of them raise questions about what Hyrule Warriors could have been like if things were…

It’s probably safe to assume Link is one of our favourite video game characters. Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game I ever played and since then Link has certainly been one of my favourites, especially adult Link. Sure, Young Link was cool but when there was an adult Link in Twilight Princess I was really pleased. Throughout this week, GlitterBerri has been hard at work translating pages from the book of all books: Hyrule Historia, getting more concept art pages ready for the English eye to look through. She started off this week with pages for The Wind Waker, breezed right through the pages of Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, and finally finished off with a ton of concept art for Twilight Princess. See more after the jump!

One of the most endearing things about our favorite green-clad hero would be his being a “south paw” or “differently handed.” Some fans have cried foul play recently with recent iterations of Link being right-handed more and more, feeling this is contrary to his original conception. They might be interested in knowing this wasn’t always meant to be the case…

In the recent Hyrule Historia scans over at History of Hyrule, there are a few things that you might have noticed if you browsed through the limited scans that are available. One of these is original concept artwork for the character of Midna from Twilight Princess. Believe it or not, the image that you see to the left was actually one of the early concepts of what Midna could potentially look like. That’s not the only concept either, as there…
