It’s that time of year again! With loads of great already released and upcoming games on gamers’ radars, GamesRadar, appropriately, is taking votes for the 33rd Golden Joystick Awards. Zelda fans left and right are being called in to vote for Majora’s Mask 3D and Zelda Wii U, which have a couple of nominations. The winners will be announced on Friday, October 30th at the Indig02 in London, England. Hit the jump for the categories Zelda has been nominated for!

The Official Nintendo Magazine has revealed the winners of their awards last year, and A Link Between Worlds has won two of them! One was for best audio, and the other for best 3DS game of the year. There may be some other categories that it deserved, but that is really up to you readers. Check out some reasons for their choices after the jump!

The entire list of nominees and honorable mentions for this year’s Game Developer’s Choice Awards have been released and our favorite A Link Between Worlds made an appearance in more than one area. There were arguably a lot of fantastic games in the past 12 months, so it’ll be interesting to see whether the Zelda game takes home any awards; most of us would certainly hope so. The latest entry in the Zelda franchise is up for three awards in this year’s Golden Joystick Awards and the power is in your hands to help it bring home the Triforce of awards. The Golden Joystick Awards is celebrating its 30th year and now has more categories than ever for you to vote in. The folks over at X-Play have announced their nominees for their Best of 2011 Awards and Skyward Sword is shockingly absent from a number of their top categories. In particular, Skyward Sword was NOT nominated for the Best Gameplay Innovation, the Best Action/Adventure Game, or the Game of the Year. In a recent press release, it was revealed that Skyward Sword has been one of the games nominated for Game of the Year by Spike TV. Skyward Sword joins Batman: Arkham City, Portal 2, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception as the games that have been nominated.
