The producer and director of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Katsuya Eguchi and Aya Kyogoku, appeared on Nintendo Minute and during the interview, they revealed their very own design of Zelda costumes. Hit the jump to see the designs.

We have seen on several occasions that Nintendo like to give nods to various other franchises in games. Link’s Awakening had Chain Chomps from the Mario games in them, Kirby has met up with Samus from the Metroid series and that’s not even scratching the surface of some of the cross overs that have happened over the years. Game Theory even did a video where they showed most game universes were connected due to how many different cameos there were….

In one of the cutest announcements at today’s Nintendo Direct, Erik Peterson of the Nintendo Treehouse brought us a new costume. Apparently, the team liked Link’s costume at the beginning of Wind Waker so much that they had a pro shirt designed to emulate it.

“We like the shirt so much that we had [The Wind Waker’s] official artist recreate it using a pro design in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. When you’re ready, go to the Able Sisters’ shop on your Animal Crossing: New Leaf town, and ask to use the sewing machine. Then, you can scan this QR code with your Nintendo 3DS to get the shirt.” Erik Peterson

In order to make the sewing machine available (which lets you get pro shirts) you need to talk to Sable every day for a while, because friendship is important!

We have all four codes after the jump.

In today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced by Nintendo that they had an official artist create a QR Code to use in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. This would allow those who have a copy of the game to let their character to wear the shirt that Link has on at the beginning of The Wind Waker. For all those who have a copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, click below to see the code and how you can use it…
