To compliment all the gameplay footage we’ve been seeing from Majora’s Mask 3D, GameXplain has released footage of Skull Kid‘s backstory cutscene. The cut-scene in question is the one in which a lonely Skull Kid meets Tatl and Tael for the first time. And as expected, the cinematic is noticeably cleaner than the Nintendo 64 original.

The graphics in the cutscene are a bit more subdued than the flashy footage we’ve seen in trailers, but the fluid animation is still a shining feature. Tatl and Tael also look less rigid and carry more weight in the environment. What are your thoughts?
