Size Matters: Majora’s Mask 3D’s File Size

If buying physical copies of games isn’t your thing, then you’ve probably considered getting Majora’s Mask 3D digitally. If so, you may have been curious as to how much space it would occupy on your SD/Micro SDHC card. Well, if you were to place a pre-order for the downloadable version on Nintendo’s website, you’d actually get an answer! The official download size is 661MB. If you’re wondering how much that equates to in blocks, it would be roughly around 5288 blocks.

Considering how gorgeous the game looks so far, it’s surprising to see just how small it actually is. It’s fascinating to think that the entire world of Termina, fully re-mastered and with added extras, takes up less than 1GB of data. What are your thoughts on the matter?
