Hyrule Warriors Will Support Amiibo – Starting with Link

Amiibo is slowly giving us more and more reasons to own them, as another game can be added to the list of support. Hyrule Warriors will be supporting the Link Amiibo at some point in the future and I would be shocked if Princess Zelda isn’t too far behind. This also could open the door to more Zelda themed Amiibos such as Ganondorf or even Impa. How the figures will be used in game is unknown at this time but Nintendo promises to share more information about it soon. Could this be an indication that there is a general Nintendo Direct hitting in December?

Amiibos are currently announced to support Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U, Captain Toad’s Treasure Trackers, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8, Mario Part 10, and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
