Okay, so the limited edition really is coming to the United States. In fact, the image you are looking at was posted by Nintendo World Store’s own Twitter account. It’s 100% legit. How can you get your hands on it? Well, fly yourself to New York City and get in line at the likely midnight launch of the game at the Nintendo World Store. Why? It will be the only place you can get it. In fact, the quantities for it are so limited they won’t even take preorders at the store – it’s first come, first serve. So yes, someone will likely get one and sell it on eBay for $1000 or so. Why? Because it’s going to be ultra rare. One of those collectors items, at least in the United States, that will be almost impossible to get your hands on.

So it’s a somewhat happy day for the lucky few, but it makes the rest of us all the more frustrated. After all, the Scarf is here in the states folk… Nintendo just isn’t giving 99.9% of the country a real shot at owning it.
