How big is the world of Zelda U? That is the question on everyone’s mind ever since we saw the zoomed out map on the GamePad. While there are no definitive answers, there are a couple fan theories floating around that took the very first screenshot we saw of the game and try to compare and contrast locations in it to what we see on the map. From what I can tell, there are two prevailing theories. First up, sinxtanx from NeoGAF presented an idea of where the landscapes are and how a particular lake seems to match up with a prior lake in the series:

As you can see, he feels the screenshot seems to be the south east area with a glimpse off too the west. Seems plausible if we can assume that the screenshot itself shows a rather large chunk of the overall world. What if, however, that screenshot is merely showing one large section of the map? That is the prevailing theory from NeoGAF user Captain Smoker:

As you can see, he also agrees with the south eastern corner concept, except he feels the representation is of a much smaller area, meaning the game could be a lot bigger than initially believed. What do you think?
