How is it already Friday again? Regardless of my lack of time management, it’s time to feature another fan fiction in our weekly segment. Last week, Laura threw us for a loop with a story that seemed to have such a definitive ending, and I can’t wait to continue it. This week, we are featuring another story based around our beloved princess. It’s yet another feature that has not reached completion, but it is our first crossover story. It follows Princess Zelda on her journey to the Super Smash Bros. tournament.

“In The Beginning” by our fan GlassGazer proves to be a story filled with action and cameos from the Nintendo universe. I personally enjoy crossover stories and how writers can craft something based on the context that surrounds a connection between two different worlds. It’s complex and I can’t get enough of it. I haven’t had a chance to really dig into the story, but I am excited to read it. It feels right considering we are coming up on the Japan release of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS next week. I’m honestly not sure what to expect out of this one. The writer has confirmed that there is something there for the fans of “Zelink”, but it will clearly not be a focus of the story. Join me on this adventure and I’ll see you again next week!

As always, if you have any works of your own, please submit them in the comments section, and you will be featured in a future Fan Fiction Friday. Don’t be discouraged if you aren’t a writer though; you can always give us a link to your favorite fan works, and it might be featured as well. Just remember, our fans are our priority, so fan written works come first.

Note: As always, please refrain from hating on fan made works in the comments section. While some may not enjoy works posted by our fans, others will, and we wish to keep a friendly environment for all fans of the Zelda series. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but we want our fans to feel safe in sharing work they have passionately created here on Zelda Informer. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
