Most of the people living in Port Hyrulian make there income by fishing, trading buying and selling goods, and sailors on one of many ships that keep the port busy. Children of the town are often seen looking at through there telescopes at ships entering and leaving the port, and playing with the seagulls and crabs that can be found through out the town.

The town also is home to a library, an astrological observatory, a post office, and a bank. Studies have shown that Port Hyrulian is the second largest city in Hyrule with a population over 50,000 (the most populated is Hyrule castle town which has 100,000 people) On the outskirts of Port Hyrulian, one can find the Rock Temple. As long as Hyrule is in a time of peace Port Hyrulian will continue its success.
