  The Psirens

The Psiren look, act and live like Hylians. However, there is more to them than meets the eye. They are blessed with psychic abilities upon birth that are later unlocked at a later age. Their powers begin at Telepathy, Telekinesis, and sometimes Precognition. As Psirens age, their powers increase. At birth, the Triforce is emblazoned on the newborn Psiren's forehead, which fades in early infancy and appears when in the use of Psiren abilities.

Long ago, in the war for the Triforce that pronounced Link's Destiny in Ocarina of Time, an unsung general of the Hylian army employed the help of the Psiren to bring victory. Much like wizards and mages of Hyrule, Psirens can learn magic as well. But sometimes, the Psirens use manifest their spells through sheer will of mind.

Psi-Blast: An orb of pure mental energy with the force of a small atom bomb.
Psi-Elements: Geo-, Pyro-, Hydro and Aero-kinesis. Often triggered through anger. The Element varies from Psiren to Psiren, and very few are known to use all 4.
Psi-Armor: A barrier of Psychic energy that protects the Psiren and can be extended over others.
Mind-Scream: A piercing pitch resonates inside an enemie's skull, often leading to the victim's head exploding. Only used as a last resort.
Project: The Psiren creates illusions of things they've seen in precognition for others to see.
