I am OK with this decision. I usually named my character Link, but recently have been having more fun with coming up with unique names for different incarnations of the green guy. Well, putting aside the fact that I think this game is set between OoT and WW, don't you remember the end of WW? The Goddesses drowned Hyrule by cracking open its bubble. That must have displaced a lot of water from the Great Sea. Maybe the effects weren't immediate judging by the credits scene...- TatlTails

All I know is that it's in the Adult Timeline, after OoT and before WW. My theory is basically that this game is WW's backstory, but it is in the ADULT Timeline. Not Child. Adult. Literally the only thing that disappointed me about this trailer was that in the Japanese dub when Zelda cried, it was like heartwrenching screaming sobs, and in the English dub her crying was more subdued.
