So...which was the first forum you joined? Mine is ZD(:D) but now I am registered in 5 more forums!!

Mine is also ZD. :) I registered back in April, but I forgot about it 'till recently.
I registered in 2 other forums latter just because they require registrations to see links in the posts. And I'm kind of inactive there (only 2-3 posts).

Mine was actually GameFAQS. And I registered a year ago. Nice people there, but I decided I hang out in more Zelda forums. I'm also known as TreeHuggerPanda there.

~EDIT~

Panda allowed me to post my first forum. It was the MyNintendo forum (I think that's what it was called) back in '05 or '06. It was pretty awesome, but it closed down. Such an epic forum...

My first forum was ZD and it is the one out of around seven that I go to regularly. The members here are just so amazing. Also, if wikipedia counts then that was before ZD.

My first forum was lotr.net. It was pretty good but the server had so many troubles. We even couldn't get on the forum for days sometimes and posts went through so slow or 13 times in a row

The site I'm the longest active at is narniafans.com (4 years now) because it is mainly the off topic part which is very cool or used to be cool. But since earlier this year I found this forum and I like it here

Mine was Neoseeker and it was a good 4 years ago.
That was when I got my first computer at 13.

I think my first was A Sailor Moon Romance, back when it still existed. I've had several fandoms but haven't joined a lot of boards/discussion communities, to tell the truth. I was in a neopets guild for awhile but drifted away when I got tired of the site. This was the first one I'd joined - and stuck around - in ages.

My first forum was for Mario, focusing around Double Dash (which was new at the time). That was back in 2003. Hmmmm... My name makes a little more sense now. :P

My first and only other forum was Serebii, back when I practically breathed pokemon and all things related. If you've ever been to Serebii, you know it is huge! Was there a few years but stayed only in the Mystery Dungeon section where I made a name for myself as a moveset builder, but after my dad blocked my computer's access to Serebii for a few months on a paranoid fear of virus attacks I was never able to make myself return to that forum. Just too big.

ZD is the only other forum I'm active at, and I like it here, a lot. =D

Zelda Dungeon was the first forum I ever joined, and right now it is the only forum I have joined. Unless you want to count Gaiaonline. They had a forum, but I never used it, unless it was to sell an item to escape a 2% deduction fee for using the marketplace. If that does count, then my first would be Gaiaonline.

LOL oh gawd, for me, it's Naruto Froums, back in 2006... I have about 1,000 posts there. I've since pretty much abandoned the series, though.

That place is just.... wow. The hilarity of internet fandom at its best (or worst, depending on how you look at it) So many heated, pointless fights with strangers, endless pairing shipping, huge number of members yet hardly a sense of community. geez, I'm glad I left...

I got back into gaming about the same time I had kicked my anime habit, so I'm really only active on here and on ZU, which I just joined under the name Oggi. Believe it or not there is actually already a Hylian Pants on their forums!! D: I like it here quite a bit because of the politeness and the tight community :)

The first forum I had joined was long in 2001 and was quite popular. It was the My Nintendo Forums and it was a fun place where they had forum chats and all the good things you expect from a forum. It even had a mature section for the older people. Why, even in summer they had this fun little event called Camp Hyrule where you would participate in small forum games and chat with others until the camp was evidently destroyed by some freak event.
However, shortly after the Wii came out, the forums had closed and become this stupid tech forum. It is a sad fate for a once great forum. ZD almost felt just like it when I first joined.

I dunno if I recall correctly, Nintendoclub something, or clubnintendo something. Yeah, I tend to forget stuff. The only forum I visit now is this one, no need to be somewhere else atm.

Clubnintendo? I'm a member there too but never entered the forums. I registered only to register my products to get points.

Hmmm.... back in 1998, I joined Nintendoland's first forums and Zelda Power's forums on the same day. I remember I had a hard time deciding which I wanted to join, so I went with both. Nintendoland's community was much nicer and a lot more intelligent, but I ended up frequenting Zelda Power more because I had been with their chatroom pre-ZeldaPower (1996, I think?) and knew the community better. I enjoyed my time at both places, and I'd go back if they didn't turn out they way they are today. ZP has become troll paradise like ZU and ZI, and Nintendoland+Zelda just kinda died off. :<

Me, it was ZU, but I also visited these forums frequently. I then deserted ZU and came here, and I do NOT regret my choice. This forum is the best I've been at.

This is actually my first and only forum that I visit and post on daily. The other forums I use came later and are more for downloads than actual discussion. Although I did join the forums over at Lionhead for their Fable series and let me tell you, it was nothing compared to ZD, NOTHING!!!!! now that that's out of the way I can say that recently I've been using the forums at codmaps to download custom Nazi Zombie maps for CoDWaW, scary but fun. However none of the forums I use come close to ZD in terms of theorizing (Zelda is a huge topic for that), debate and a real sense of community. and I think there is a reason that we are all so like minded... like a real community... and that reason is.. we are all hardcore Zelda fans! lol

The Nintendo Conference is now less than 2 days away, so I'm gunna be on ZD alot over the next few days, talkin about all sorts of stuff.

The first forum I joined was the Zelda Dungeon forum. I never really had been interested in forums and Tom (Alder Dragon) had recommended joining here. Since then, I have become a member of a few others (i.e. Physics Forum and Bad Astronomy and Universe Today Forum). I am nowhere near as active on these other sites as I am on Zelda Dungeon, nor have I been around nearly as long. Like I said before, Zelda Dungeon was my first forum to join and it is the only forum I am a member of that is Zelda-related. Zelda Dungeon was and is a great way for newcomers to get adjusted and comfortable in an online community. It is still my favorite forum. :)

My first forum was Exploding Deku Nut's forum, The Forbidden Woods. I remember finding it in the beginning of 2009. I then began going to other forums, such as Portal to Hyrule and here. I'm glad I joined them. :3

Well, my official first forum was the one I made.

It was known as Pokemon-United. It was a forum made for Filipino Pokemon players. I was the Webmaster at the time. It was a nice place. A very well developed pokemon forum. We just discussed what matters to us. But..alas. It was destroyed by certain players. I won't go deep into details. Cause it will bring back a pain in my head.

Though after I made that forum, I joined others. ZD came to my mind. I joined here when I had enough courage.

My first was NFC, the Internet Nirvana Fan Club. Yeah ... I was really into Nirvana in junior high. I didn't stay there very long, and started perusing other fan sites and communities. ZD was my second, several years ago (4 or 5, around the time of TWW's release I think). I didn't stay very long then either, and I joined a few other Zelda forums after, still only temporarily. I was talking to Crono from ZChronicles for a while, so I was on those forums, but they never really went anywhere. I really got into the site Desert Colossus and eventually joined there, but a while after TP's release Jack straight-up quit the site. Then for a long while I left the forum scene entirely, probably due to that myspace BS ...

Though I quit the forums, ZD's always been my choice Zelda site for news and walkthroughs, tied with the Desert Colossus before Jack quit. Eventually I decided to join ZD again, and now here I am. Yay!

So technically ZD is the only site and forum that I haven't been on temporarily. Oh and OCReMix, but I come and go through OCR phases.

My was actually this unless you count the horrible messenger boards at lego.com forums. Someone from the site like a worker has to read it to see if it's appropriate. So anyway this was my first forum.

I had a Pokémon fansite on MSN Home or whatever it was called back in like 1999, and that had a message board in it. There were also fits and starts with some homeschooling forums, where I posted once or twice on my mom's account. My first real forum, certainly my first Zelda forum, was probably Zeldaglitches.com, which died maybe a month after I signed up. My main one was Totally Zelda, which is still around (albeit untouched since around 2004 or 05) since ProBoards never takes anything down. (Anyone know whatever happened to the guys that ran TZ?)

Anyway, I also got onto the old forums that ZD shared with Zelda Legacy, as well as one other forum (Zelda Domain, I think, but I don't really remember; there's an off chance it was Zelda Universe). I didn't stay on those because I got into fights (One in ZD/Legacy's Mature forum, because I wasn't as mature as I thought I was, the other with one Maxine MagicFox of McLOZ fame because I hated her disabled right-click and because I was an overly defensive jerk about my own site).

I think I got out of forumgoing altogether once TZ petered out the second time, then eventually got back into it on PolyKarbon Art forums. I also joined Catholic Answers Forums like four years ago, but rarely post because it's just too big and fast-moving to keep up with. (Kinda like what Hylian Pants experienced: so many members, but I couldn't find a sense of community.) I joined BumbleKing Comics (home of Archie Sonic writer Ian Flynn) in December 08, then joined Zelda Dungeon's Dark World Forums (that is what they were called, right?) the following spring after giving up BumbleKing for Lent.

ZD is my most recent addition, and despite my having racked up a whopping thirty posts in over a year of membership it's my second-most frequented forum. A distant second. Yeah, BumbleKing eats up a lot of my time, probably because we get two new Sonic comics a month whereas we get a new Zelda game every year or two. Not that this is a good reason for me to be such a stranger here. I guess it's just the ol' short attention span.

Well, that's my experience with forums. It's been a longer journey than I thought. Shucks, now I'm feeling all introspective.

The first forum that I joined wasn't a very pleasant one. It was Zelda Legacy. The site went offline quite a bit back. It came back up recently, but from the times that I've visited, including now, it has been back down. After Zelda Legacy was Zelda Temple... which went on to become Zelda Community, then became Forsaken Legend. Finally I wound up at Zelda Dungeon after Forsaken Legend failed due to bad administration.

Bisically the same for me, I was only 12 though, so I don't really remember a lot outside of some members names and the many campeigns on there, such as Mr.Guffey for Super Moderator. It wasn't really a pleasant site at all, most of the members weren't pleasant to hang around, except for the odd few that appeared every once in a while. Once Zelda Legacy came back up, I did try and make contact with KillSwitch, or whatever he goes by these days, and it failed miserably.

My first forum site was Nsider, once Nintendo's official forums, where I was for several years. Of course, in 2007, the forums were closed for undisclosed reasons, and thus I moved to several other forums before finding myself here.

The first forum I ever joined was a Naruto forum way back when I can't remember. I never made a single post there, actually. XD I just signed up and got lost and never came back.

The first forum I joined that I was actually active on was... ZeldaDungeon! Yeah, back in August last year I joined and actually posted quite a bit here. Granted most of those posts were pretty bad, admittedly, but I straightened up.

My first forum was on insidegamer.nl, a Dutch game website. I still visit the main site to check news about games and watch some discussion videos, but I don't check the forums anymore. It was not very friendly and just not my type of forums. My first English forum was ZD.

My first forum was um.... drumdogs.

I was pretty active there for about a year. Ended up with around 300(?) posts. It was a forum for percussionists and a really great one, but I wasn't all that knowledgeable and I started to see the same things over and over again, so I got a lil' bored :/ Also, most users were drum set players and not well rounded percussionists. I was more interested in orchestral/ensemble percussion, but that's not 'cool' over there.

My first forum was a terrible choice. It was Zelda Universe and I never really had any experience on how to have an internet social life. I was only twelve and got banned within a month of joining. I wouldn't say I necessarily spammed, but I just didn't have the mind I do now. I am much happier here because I don't get claustrophobic--ZU is just too huge a community for me.

Yep, ZeldaDungeon is my first forum. And the only forum I really go on.

My first forum was Harry Potter Dialogue Centre. It's almost dead now. Probably because the mods are too strict and Harry Potter is basically over You can't post a link to ANY sites. Not even talk about them. The avatars are too small (50X50) and there are no signatures. I've had three user names there (theflyingeyrie, theflyingkitty, and icekit). I have 1,457 posts on there.

My first was the forum at Lissa Explains it All, a site for kids to learn HTML. I joined in, what, 2001? Something like that. I was there for years. Was a moderator for a while, too.

I've joined (and hosted) a number of different one since then.

Mine was gamefaqs. I am known as zack125... funny enough. I'm not that active there but I did post 8 reviews for the past 2 years.

In 2007 on gamefaqs, there was a small incident that caught my interest in the invisionfree forums, although I only stayed for about 2-3 months.

I also have an account on gametrailers.com but I rarely post in the forums. I'm only interested in the videos. However, some of the topics I create here at ZD is because I saw it first on gametrailers and I want to pass it on here.

Finally, there is Zelda Dungeon. This is the only fan-made site that I still post even though I don't post on it that often. I won't leave anytime soon.
