I appologize if i try to start a new thread on a topic that has been covered already but: Which is your favorie Link? Mine is Link in AoL, he is the coolest one up to date! But I do also love Link in oracles, the look on his face when he is digging with the shovel, wonderful!! :lol:

Link has always (and probably always will be) been Hylian, not human or elf. I'm pretty sure he has pointy ears in TP, so that proves it. As far as I know, there are no elves in zelda.

Back in the day, he was considered an elf with his pointy ears until Twilight Princess confirmed he was human. Seriously, I think it's safe to atleast consider he was an elf in the OOT Dimension so quit being such a Drama-Queen.

All of the Hylians have pointy ears, and Link is, and probably always will be, a Hylian. Just thought I'd let you know.

I think the TP Link is the best, as I've already said, but I think he's the most expressive Link yet. Also, it's graphically the best Zelda game yet, so Link looks best in it in my opinion.

I have 2 favorite links, Oot and TP. I liked the Oot link because he could become young and older. So he really had two forms. I liked the TP link because he had alot of detail and his sword attacks were really good.

I must admit, this question is a good one. I've never even thought of this before.

From all the games, my favorite Link would have been in Phantom Hourglass, because of how interactive the game was, and you actually could spend some time in his pixel shoes.

Besides a more interactive form of game play, my favorite would have been the very versatile and adventurous Link from Ocarina of Time.

Kid Link is better IMO. It's way cuter! Adult Link isn't as good. He looks to serious. The Link from OoS, OoA, LA, etc is good to. not the art of him, but in the actual game. Adult Link. It seems unlikely to me how a child can do as much as Link does in some of the games, namely Ocarina of Time, where he was like 9 or something. When I was 9, I sure couldn't have done half of that stuff. Of course, by "adult" I don't mean actual adult. Probably around the age of 16 or 17. That makes more sense to me for Link, as he would be able to take much of the hardship that he has to go through.

Adult form is much better. As dark link stated, that would be pretty near impossible do to that stuff in real life as a kid. Then again, it is a video game and anything is possible with video games, but Adult Link was much better, since it gave Zelda that realistic feel.

Adult Link is cool, but I voted for Young Link because I generally think of Link as a child. Only Twilight Princess's Link is an adult during the whole game and only he and Ocarina of Time's Link are an adult at some point. This means that SEVEN Links of the nine (these numbers could be a bit questionable) are portrayed only as children and EIGHT of the nine are children at some point. I'm just more used to Young/Toon Link, I guess.:hmm:

It all depends. In OoT I actually would have prefered child Link (if he could use more weapons, but he didn´t :(). Adult Link could use more items and therefore explore more interesting dungeons. Based on the look I prefer child Link but on ability adult Link.

One of my favorite Link ever was Wind Waker Link but in PH he just looked silly!

As I´ve mentioned before my favorite Link is the hero from Adventure of Link so I guess my final answer must be: Adult Link o.o

I tend to gravitate towards the Adult Links more often than not. I don't know if this is because I can relate to them more since I'm an adult or not. I think one of the reasons is he looks more like a seasoned warrior than the child Links do. Sometimes Child Link vs some of the enemies is almost unbelievable that he could handle them. Adult Link seems like more of a realistic match to opponents like Darknuts or larger bosses, or Ganondorf himself.

As for specifics, I really like the design of TP Link, and I'm glad to see he's coming back in Zelda Wii (or somethign similar!) I love AoL Link's sprite design as well, even if it's definitely dated.

uh huh... thats tough but i say that ww link is first and tp link is second. ww link is bold, brave, and rash! the best qualities in a link! he's also very tough and durable. plus he's really kind (another great quality link has). after all he risks his own life for the sake of many others. yeah tp link is second cuz he only had bravery and kindness. plus he'd pwn all the links if they all fought each other.

This is kind of tough, because you're picking a character that doesn't really have in-game personality, but I'll play along. :)

Young Link: Majora's Mask (He didn't need much guidance, he helped Tatl become more responsible, and there wasn't really a guiding force behind all this, just Link being a good person.)
Adult Link: If ALttP Link is adult: ALttP Link (He had to battle in the Dark World, which was... well... dark haha. No humans to relate to, just creepy monsters everywhere.) If ALttP Link isn't: Ocarina of Time (Thrust into a messed up Hyrule, his friends were captured or didn't recognize him and was in a similar situation to ALttP Link.)
Toon Link: Wind Waker (Well, tWW is the only toon Link game I've played. He was admittedly funny in the game though. Closest we've come to Link having his own personality.)

Hmm, hard comparisons since, yes most of them don't have much personality. I really liked Wind Waker Link. Yeah he was immature because he's a little kid. I liked that he was cute and cheerful, he was funny.
I also liked Young Link from Majora's Mask, I liked the transformations and his strength at such a young age.
In a different sense than WW Link, Tp Link looked best, despite the brown hair and right-handed-ness.

Young Link - Majora's Mask. He went through a lot of stuff in that game, and you have to wonder how somebody can bear all that. He had a lot of stuff to go through, and the weight of Termina on his shoulders as the moon threatened to fall on top of them all.

Adult Link - Twilight Princess. I suppose I just picked this one because he looked cool. :P

Toon Link - Wind Waker. Simply because Wind Waker was an epic game.

OoT Adult Link - Adult Link was my number one favorite Link. He acted so mature through the whole situation of his duty to Hyrule. He was so willing to help and he really turned out to be a good hero and he was very trustworthy and reliable in OoT.
MM Deku Link - I like Deku Link because he was so adorable, precious, and cute! He was looked smaller than the world.
TP Link- I think this Link was so awesome looking and very mature as well.
WW Toon Link- Even though I think he can be annoying sometimes, Toon Link does have his cute moments.

My favoirte is a three way tie between Adult Link, TP Link, and TWW Link. (Not his PH version though. He is annoying there.) ALso, Adult Link and TP Link are entirly two different graphic styes and traits. Toon Link is only TWW and PH. ST Link is, well, ST Link. MC Link is MC Link. You also forgot FS/FSA Links. LoZ Link may or may not be AoL Link. ALttP Link is Hero of Light Link. LA Link can be any of the prevously mentioned Links.

This is tough. Although I like the darker games the most (because of the emotions and depth), I'd have to say WW Link is my favorite (closely followed by TP Link). WW Link was quirky and had some funy facial expressions. He definitely had the most personality and he was so darn cute.

TP Link is my second favorite. He looked so mature and still had some personality.

Young Link is my 3rd favorite. Although MM is my favorite game, Young Link really had no personality or facial expressions other than a very unrealistic surprised face.

Lease favorite: Adult Link from OoT. Even less interesting than Young Link.

I'm pretty sure I've answered this question before... a couple of times.

My favorite is Twilight Princess Link for many personal reasons. He is Link I feel the most "linked" too. His job is similar to mine (although, I wasn't doing ranch work when I first got the game, I had done ranch work before, and currently, I'm doin' ranch work). He has that "rural person/grew up rural" charm that I relate to. He also has his very strong connection to the animal world - most manfiest in his becoming a wolf, and I like that because I feel close ties to animals and nature. Also, maybe it's that I'm an old fart playing the game: He's probably the oldest living Link in the bunch.

And, while he isn't given quite the personality that Wind Waker Link is given, he does show emotion and has amusing expressions. He has an intresting combination of maturity and "goofy bumpkin/still a kid" charm.

He's a young, tough rancher and I relate to that, darnit!

My favourite Link? I think I would say TP Link. Probably for the reason that TP Link was the first one that I grew close to while playing throught the game. I loved watching his emotions throughout the story and couldn't help but feel with him for some parts.

Young Link would probably be a second because despite being a kid, he acts very maturely and in a calm fashion, especially in MM. He does show true courage, even in his child years.
