What Is Your Favorite Flavor of Ice Cream?

Hmm... my favorite flavor of ice cream would either have to be Vanilla or Strawberry. Now if we add toppings then my favorite would have to be Vanilla because Vanilla goes good with almost any topping.

I forget what it was called, but it's a mocha coffee-flavored ice cream with caramel swirls, toffee bits, chocolate swirls and chunks of chocolate fudge. That's the best ice cream ever.

Vanilla is my favorite flavor of ice cream, especially when I can have it with cherry soda. I love having lots of vanilla ice cream and drowning it in cherry soda, it's one of my favorite desserts. If there is no soda, I like to put tons of crushed Oreos in my ice cream. That's also one of my favorite desserts. ^^

And, since this is America, we took an already sugary treat, and made it even MORE sugary by mixing it in some ice cream!
But, I still love it.
Luckily it only comes out for a month or two, or else I'd be eating it all the time and get fat

I dont have an all time favorite flavor of ice cream because it quite depends on why I'm eating the ice cream.

Like if I'm full. Nothing quite does it like Mint Chip. Its soothing in my tummy, and doesnt make me feel like I've over eaten.

If i'm a little more on the hungry side I have two flavors that always interest me. One's called "Moose Tracks" Its vanilla-ish Ice Cream with peanut butter cups and brownies, other wise good old classic Cookie Dough does the trick.

I will accept any and all ice cream. Can't beat straight chocolate for me, though. Cookie dough is also a close favorite. And while I only get Ben and Jerry's occasionally for a treat (delicious, but often out of my budget) they have an amazing triple caramel ice cream that tastes as if you've dipped your spoon right into caramel syrup.

I also used to love Vienetta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viennetta), but I can't tell if it's made any more, at least not the original version. I never find it myself. I don't know why it would be discontinued...how can you go wrong with vanilla ice cream with layers and layers of chocolate candy folded in?

Also, Coldstone's banana ice cream is incredible. Apparently, in each tub, there are about nine bananas. Now that is good banana.

There was a time when I used to think of vanilla as an insipid, plain flavor; I was always a chocolate guy growing up, like most kids. But, I have to say that while it's not my favorite, when you get a good ice cream with a rich vanilla flavor it's great by its own merits—without toppings. Still, I do enjoy adorning vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and the like from time to time.

It's hard to go wrong with chocolate, but in a way, plain chocolate ice cream on its own gets dull very quickly. If placed on a cone it'll gain some personality, but my favorite thing to do with it is to make a chocolate malt with it.

Chocolate and vanilla swirl soft serve results in a very satisfying amalgam.

Mint chocolate chip was one of my favorites, too, but I think I've kind of grown out of it. Maybe it's just because I kept getting the Dreyer's brand, which I actually hate for its airy texture; I have a predilection for heavier, richer ice creams.

Rocky road is great in its complexity in both flavor and mouth texture, and I really enjoy nuts in my chocolate. One of my main gripes with it, however, is that its embellishments mean it isn't the best candidate for a milkshake.

But, if I had to select a single type of ice cream I would go with coffee ice cream. Trader Joe's has a fantastic coffee ice cream that's one of the best I've ever had. I can't think of anything better, so I'd have to say that it's my current favorite.

If you don't eat dairy products for a prolonged period of time, your intestines lose the enzyme needed to break it down. If you gradually introduce dairy into your diet you can regain that enzyme, from what I've heard.

Vanilla is my favourite because of its simplicity and purity. Other ones I like a lot include chocolate, strawberry, and cookie dough. I find that some more complex flavours (like bubble gum) don't feel like ice cream anymore.
