I need a picture of midna wearing the completed fused shadow thingy at the end of the game ( you know when she has all those arms in the air). Her with that spear or her going up with all the arms down is good) If you wish to flourish it you'd save me alot of work but note that ill probly use what you post. Please and thank you:D

Alright, well, since a lot of people here are sickXpro with their Photoshop skillz and such, I figured I would put this out there and see where it goes. My band needs a design. I would like something kinda tribal looking, or celtic, but really just anything cool will work. Now the band is hard rock; Somewhere along the lines of Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, maybe a little bit of Killswitch Engage in there, that sorta deal. So it has to look, ya know, rock-ish.

I've been working on a few different designs and ideas myself, but I would like to see what our graphic pros here at ZD can do. There's no big hurry on this, but the sooner, the better. And don't feel bad if I don't pick your design or something. Heck, at least this gives you something to do.

My bands name is OBEY, that's all caps. The symbol doesn't have to include the band name. Actually, I would prefer that it did not include the band name, but if you got the spare time, surprise me. Just make sure you make the symbol separate as well so that we can use it as a standalone thing and don't have to past the symbol with the band name every time we use it.

Also, for all those out there that don't like their designs to go without credits, I will make sure you work gets credited. However, we can't go putting credits all over the design every time we use it. That means, IF your design is picked, we won't be putting "thanks to whoever" on all the T-Shirts or posters or flyers that we make with the symbol on it. What I can do, is put the credits on our Myspace, where we will have the design posted up in one of our albums. I'll make sure to link back to wherever the designer wants it linked back to; Their website or whatever.

Anyway, thanks ahead of time guys (and gals). I'll look forward to checkin out all your ideas and hopefully I'll find something better than what I've been coming up with considering my PS skills aren't spectacular.

Ooh, a sudden burst of inspiration hit me! I'm going to go work on it now. :D

Although I am terrible at drawing on computers, I can draw it out on paper and then put it on my computer to edit it in GIMP and make it look like a logo and not some lame drawing. :)

When I get done, I'll post the link to it up on here, okay? Anyways, I'm off to go work on it now! :)

I designed it with your band's name in mind. The first symbolism shown is the man in black is bowing down, which essentially is a way of showing that your obeying someone. The second symbolism is that the man is formed out of an arrow which shows another meaning of obeying (ie: being guided by). Essentially you are being guided by the arrow which forms into the man.

Well that's all I can say for now. If there's anything that you would like for me to change, I'll be glad to do so. I hope you like it. Even if you don't use it, at least I know that I probably helped give you an idea for a logo for your band. :)

:lol: You're not the only one who didn't see that. I showed it to a family member of mine the other day when I was working on it. I believe it took them a couple of seconds to realize what it looked like. :xd:

It took me a while to find out a good design for the logo. I was trying to come up with something that would describe the name of your band, "OBEY". It took a couple of hours, but then it hit me when I thought of a man bowing. Since bowing is a way of obeying someone, I thought of designing the logo like that.

On another note, it also took me a while to find a font that looked cool enough to use. I finally found one though. :)

yes I have actually seen that font somewhere recently; Probably while I was looking for a font to design my own logo. I found a bunch on a 1001 fonts place, which it could have been on there or could have been on Photoshop or my computer already.

Nice work there, some improvements though ;)

I will keep with the second one, but if you can make Link a little bit farther away from the "camera" (or pictobox if you want to :P)
And damn my bad english, I can't really tell if sunset counts both for morning and evening... When I think of it, make it like when the moon rises xP (if it is possible) And Link black toned, like shadowy...

The text though... The "Heroes get remembered, but legends never die" is fine, but make it like Light Blue and a little bit glowy (like my current sig)...
For my name, make it a little bit smaller and the same as above, with light blue and glowy text :P

Just to give you an easy idea to how it's gonna be...
Think of the phrase Heroes get remembered, but legends never die...
Like Link is leaving Hyrule, as a hero... And he will be remembered, for sure...
But Legends never die aswell... Like in 200 years he will be a legend, and not a hero...
Kinda he is leaving behind the things that made him who he are.

Here's a tentative version. The picture's not as high quality as I'd like it, but it was a really difficult shot to find o.O Sorry I took so long as well~
I darkened the edges because it looked a little plain otherwise, but I can easily remove that... but feel free to point out what else inevitably needs changing and I'll get on it :zelda:

Oooookay, 43ForcfeGems I'm so sorry that took me so long. Urgh, I've had so much trouble trying to find someway to print off my coursework and it demanded WAAAY to much of my time. I can't thank you enough for your patience :)

Also, bellum, yeah, the font's called "Triforce", it's actually the font used in the main logo and such. When I originally found it I'd just typed "Zelda fonts" into google, and you'll find it and instructions from there :3

Add in front of the url and right at the end, don't skip spaces, all has to be grouped in.

You can try to use a video-to-.gif converter online. I have done it once...

Just search Video to gif converter on google, and a lot of results will pop up...

Then download the trailer from Youtube or IGN or wherever.
And that should be it ^^

Just do that without the spaces when making a post and it will show up.

I know that ;) I'm familiar with this problem but 99% of the time you avoid this by adding the URL instead of the pic on your local drive. But I made it smaller for you. It is 18 kb so it SHOULD work. if it still won't you must follow my advice and upload the file to a host like tinypic so you can choose the url and add it.

Okay zelda_8 here's what I got for you.

With a picture like this, you may want to use it for a sig instead of an avatar.

Now I changed the color of the font because I thought it looked better that way. Also I put the "Hope is the Answer" in the bottom corner instead of your name for the same reason. If you want, I can change both of those things to how you said you wanted it. I can also turn off all those effects I put on Link and the castle. Any other complaints about it that you want me to change just speak up. Or if you don't like it at all, that's fine too. I could always use more options for my sig.

I'm not good at it. I tried before and I totally screwed up on it. Also, about the link, my computer won't let me go there. (I have a protection onmy computer that prevents me from going to those kinds of sites. :P) I only messed with the sig a little bit by changing the font, adding in a drop shadow and an outer glow, and changing the color of the font. I am an amatuer at these sig things.

Did you guys follow the link I gave you? If you save the image to your computer and then upload it here, they'll give you lot's of code. The URL wouldn't work for my sigs so I use Direct Links, which is also what I gave you guys. Go here and they'll give you lot's of options. Keep trying until one of them works.

Microsoft Paint gives me the dimensions. That signature is 497X387 pixels.
All you have to do is open the picture in Microsoft Paint and press ctrl+E. But thats provided that you do have MS Paint.

That's the direct link. All you do now is go to your settings, go to "Edit Signature" and press the button with what appears to be a tree surrounded by a black border. Its in between the buttons that look like an envelope and Film.

Once clicked, it'll tell you to type in the URL. Put in the link above.

Didn't you say that the site was restricted due to some kid of Internet security. That could be what is making it not appear on you screen. It appears just fine on mine.
