What with my story getting wiped out, I guess I am going to start a new one. So, just like before, if you want a character to be in it, submit it here. Also, there will be no custom map for this story, I'll base it on WindWaker's map, so choose an island from there. Yes, for this story, the island you choose will belong to your character(s) Leave Windfall and Outset island out of it, as those will be the major cities for the story.

I got dibs on the Forsaken Fortress. Also, the tower of the gods and other WW related quest dungeons are offlimits to you...use the other islands that are available to you, one per person.

Bio: At a young age, Ark Mantrios was found abandoned in the wilderness by a great sorcerer. He took Ark in and trained him in the art of magic and swordplay, but as Ark grew up- he begean to see things differently. He ran away from his master to pursue his own ambitions. Training alone in the woods. While there, Ark became corrupted by the evils of men and he lost his humanity. He now expresses hatred towards all living things, regarding them as inferior and flawed. He plans to one day iradicate them all, by any means necessary.

Bio: Marsden always had his eyes set on grand ideals. He was always about the bigger picture and never stopped dreaming to one day ascend to the higher plateau possible. However he's been forced to take a detour of sorts. His father who worked as a merchant sailer never returned from his last trip. That was two years ago. Marsden is always accompanied by his only friend, Xander. During the two years of solitude the two have been training and attempting to survive off of the island's bounty whilst trading with various boats that would come by on routes. Marsden had feared the sea and to some degree, still does, however he will not be pushed by it. He has dreams that must be fulfilled. If he had to be a merchant sailor for the time being then so be it, that is what he would do.

Name: Inko Trate Rami
Age: 12 (wind waker Link's age)
Gender: Male
Inventory: A split sword (like the blue spirit in the last airbender),A crystal dagger from his father that has a purplish shiny color to it, a cane that he's very skilled with, and a keaton mask, he uses at night when he's a thief(kind of like Catwoman how she is a thief,but is good in a way)
Job: messenger,thief, a carpenter,and a lookout

Bio: When he was born his parents were very pour so they couldn't keep him. They had to leave him somewhere, so they chose some nice people called Rito to take care of him on Dragon-roost Island. Hi parents said they needed to focus on finding rupees to live a life without poverty. So the Rito were very nice to Inko and took him in as one of them,but one thing he couldn't do was earn his wings. When time did come he met Valoo,but Valoo didn't give wings instead he recieved Iron.Use them wisely Valoo said to Inko. Inko decided to make them into swords,but just not any swords he was going to make them into split swords.And so he did. After this he wanted to find his parents and see what had become of them. He started to escape and try and fly with his sword. He could fly with so well he was practicly Rito. He then was taught how to deliver mail. He was paid very well and forgot about his parents. One year later he remembered them and was going to go on an adventure to find them,but not right now. He had to do it at the right time.

Island: As you can probably tell it's Dragon-Roost Island.

Anyway, here is my character. He wont be the main character, but we can say he'll play a huge role in the story.

Name: Rad Manthys
Age: 21
Gender: Human/Dragir
Inventory: A double edge golden sword he calls "Sword of the Meek". Two 12-inch daggers, a sawed-off double barrel magical pistol and several assorted magical bombs.
Job: Rad, as a young teenager began studying all sorts of jobs. He was mostly interested in carving assorted stuff from wood. He was also a good smithy, but his heart was so adventurous that he did not
pay much attention to weapon making. (Current Job: Pirate/Weapons Master)
Island: Forsaken Fortress
Bio: Rad hails from the Island of Wind Fall. His so-called parents were the richest folks in town, but Rad always possessed a kind heart. His parents were mean and very un-sociable with the poorer folk, therefore, the Manthys family was mostly hated by medium wealthy families and the poorer ones, but Rad helped the people in their times of need, giving them rupees and the like so they could continue living. So, the folk of Wind Fall Island adored the young fellow, but kept despising the rest of his family.

On a stormy night, three huge pirate ships appeared out of nowhere and docked on the Island's harbor. The ships' crew were mean pirates that were feared in all of Wind Fall, belonging to a clan known as the "Sword and Dirk Crew"

Led by a tall lass who possessed green, emerald-like eyes and long, red hair, the pirates quickly seized the town and robbed it clean. Aside from that, the pirates, who also recruited their fighters this way while in a town raid, took the strongest men as captives...

Rad, who was adored by almost everyone in the Island, also was taken away...


Anyway...that's Rad. As to what Race your character can be, well, any that appears in the WW game. You can also choose to be a Furrion, which is mostly related to Felines. *Note that the story will take place 60 years after Link's own adventure...*

Name: Alecia Xandria
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Inventory: A case of throwing needles, a Bow and large quiver, a bunch of smoke balls, two poison-tipped daggers
Job: Archer, sailor
Island: Ice Ring Isle
Bio: Born to a modest family on Windfall, Alecia decided from an early age that she wanted to explore the oceans. Having inherited her father's skills with long range weaponry, Alecia worked hard as a youth to become a powerful archer, hoping to one day become strong enough to defend herself and be able to explore the seas on her own. In her teen years, she finally decided to pursue her dreams and signed up with one of the fishing boats that often docked at Windfall. She used the opportunity to further hone her fighting abilities by taking swordsmanship lessons with some of the sailors, but soon decided she much preferred short daggers to take advantage of her flexibility in close combat. She continued to develop her archery, eventually learning to empower them with ice magic, and gained a reputation for being able to subdue the larger, more dangerous fish that fishers coveted by freezing them with her arrows. As her prowess on the seas increased and her thirst for adventure grew, Alecia began to nurture secret desires to one day become part of a pirate crew.

Rito is not a problem, as Dragirs can change into what they want....this changing is not free or without consequences, though....If your character changes into something, he/she is vulnerable to whatever weaknesses those other races have. So think it good. Also, thanks for joining. I promise I will post up your intro today...As well as the rest who have signed up.

Hair: Collar length, dark grey hair.
Clothing: Dark torso armour, black pants, silver gauntlets.
Skin: Pale
Height: Average size of adult human.

Thanks for listening to my call, friend. Here is a description of Rad.

Brown eyes when in human form, red and catlike when Dragir.

Brown, sides-split hair when in human form and white as the snow when Dragir.

five feet 8 inches tall as a human, same as a Dragir.

Slender but strong body, both human and Dragir. Random, silvery scales cover him whenever he means to show his true identity, and long, ram-like horns come out of his head as well as his mighty, black wings.

Likes to wear rings and necklaces, all enchanted of course.

--Wears plated armor on his torso, part of his arms. He usually is dressed in white pants, dark shirt/vest, and dark boots.

If anyone wants more description from a Dragir, ask me. Dragirs differ in scale and skin colors. There are White Dragirs like Rad, Red, blue, yellow, black and green.

If those of you who have submitted a character would be kind enough to update them with a Description, that would help me alot in the story. I am very sorry, I offer you all my apologies as it was me who forgot to include a Description section in the character sheet.

Anyway...Thought I inform anyone who reads this that Ascendancy of the Last is coming to its conclusion. Maybe five more chapters and it ends at ten. Fret not, there is still much to be told regarding the Dragirs, Princess Zelda, Link, both who are old now...and of course, the rest of the characters. That will be told in a Prequel, a Sequel and maybe Sequel+.

Anyway, I don't even know where Zelda Castle would be located in the new world. I just know it sunk....Did it rise again? I don't recall...I'll just place it in some nifty island of my choice. It was flooded with the rest of the world. The Tower of the Gods is where I assume it "should" be, along with Ganon and his minions that were frozen in time. That's how it worked I'm pretty sure.

So you mean to tell me that when Link finishes Ganon off, he does it in the Tower of the Gods? And you say his minions are frozen too? I just want to know exactly what happened since I was a battle away from finishing the game. I don't remember where I went to, but I was doing battle with all the bosses...then Ganon would get a taste of Link...but I never finished...I don't know, something else got my attention. ^^

He started teaching her Swordsman ship skills, and magic. She became a renowned swords-woman, and was proclaimed the first lady knight of the castle. When she had enough money, she hired one of the castle spys to find her mother and father. The spy came back with the news that her mother was queen of the land Sammy was origionally born in, but killed in a fierce battle with a sorcerer. A new queen was chosen, and now rules the land quite well. The identity of her father was unknown. Sammy now lives good life in the hills of the land, caring for her horse, Demonda. (hope that works for your story.)

Bio: He's not from Hyrule or anywhere in this world. He comes from a world of broken reality and sometimes, getting sucked to another dimension is a normal thing. He just happened to get caught in a bad flux and got flung to Hyrule. Now he waits for someone from his dimension to help him or to find a dimensional flux in this universe, the only problem is that he doesn't know where to look and he's stranded.
The one thing that helps him though is a rock inside his veins that grants him the power to cast lightning spells without getting sick. The rest of his magic however is severely lacking, which is why he is still an apprentice.
Fears: Anything that is bigger than him will scare the pants out of him. So does flying, he usually passes out when flying.
Personality: Weak willed when alone, but very uplifting with others, but only because he hopes they will join in with him. If uplifting fails the first time, he will join in angst.
Despite those short comings he is a very nice guy and will build up courage whenever someone he knows is in danger.
Island: Stranded on Six eyed Reef.

(Note: His world is backwards so don't worry about much. He doesn't even know what a bomb is.)

Bio: Koroko's parents were very good adventurers. His parents had been adventuring in the southern sea while Koroko was a baby near the Forest Haven on their ship, following a treasure chart when they encountered a big octo. They managed to fend off the beast, but Koroko's father became injured. Koroko's mother had no means to take care of the man but did not lose hope. She sailed desperately to try to find an island to get help. She arrived at the Forest Haven where she sought out help from anybody that might be living there. It was there that she met the Koroks and their father, the Great Deku Tree. They nursed his father back to health and they felt eternally grateful and now live with the Koroks and Great Deku Tree to find a way to repay their debt. Koroko was told this story many times and nearly has it memorized. His parents wish for him to one day take over the family tradition of treasure hunting and as such, have trained him with their own skills. His father instructs him in the way of the sword and shield among other weapons and items while his mother instucts him of the way of magic. He also recieved a boomerang from his best friend of the island, Linder, and holds it very dear to him. He also received a Deku Leaf from the Great Deku Tree himself and often races his korok friends in the air. He also, as a young child, ventured into the Forbidden Woods where he got lost and developed a deep fear of Forests in general, excluding the Forest Haven where he feels safest, due to the residence of his friends and family, not to mention a guardian spirit. When his 15th birthday came, he took over the family tradition of sailing the seas, searching for treasure and adventuring through various dungeons and caves.

Sorry i'm a bit late, I was on holiday for 5 days :P

Anyways, because you asked for it mr rad/xeldi here is my character:

Name: Saskia Zeeron
Age: 20
Occupation: Biologist
Inventory: A backpack with notepad, pencils, small scalpels, a magnifier glass and other stuff needed to examine animals/plants. Saskia also has a rusty sword mainly for show.
Bio: Saskia travels around the Great Sea to document all of the wildlife and plantlife on the islands. Her parents never liked their daughter to be a biologist, so after a lot of argues Saskia left her home island for good (taking a lot of money with her). After 4 years of researching, she has a vast knowlegde of the wildlife, but she still miscalculates danger when she wants to research animals resulting in a lot of scratch and teeth marks. Saskia can be friendly and helpful, but her constant talk about biology can be annoying. She doesn't like to fight and tries to avoid conflicts because she has no experience in sword fighting.
Current Island: Saskia is currently studying sea gulls at bird's peak rock

Oh, so you did come! Thanks, Smitie. If some of the newer characters don't appear before Chapter 10, which is the conclusion to this story, they will appear in the Sequel right away. I might have to do that since I said I wanted to close AotL with 10 chapters. No spoilers or anything, just wanted to say that the story closes out at Zelda Castle. Expect a very long Chapter 10, guys/gals.

I am sorry about this, Xinnamin, truly I am. But you should be grateful, the total characters from this story is smaller than the last time I wrote. And, you don't have to draw everyone, I am sure people can submit their own Cherry if they'd like to. :P

Lol, I don't have to decide, it is really up to you. When I said a cover, I didn't mean I want something way good looking. A simple drawing of a few characters will do. I even have the idea of what's it gonna look like already.

Yes, it is growing quite well. Had it grown like this from the start, the story would of had been very different. AS you can probably tell, the story focused too much on the Dragirs. And that is because I had not too many sign ups. But now...things are gonna change...(Winks)

Also, when I return from my sis', I will start to hit the art trend as well. For now, all is well. XD

As requested Xel. (I have never played WW, so my references are more based on OoT, feel free to change them!)

Age: 19/20 (she is not totally sure of when she was born, this is a guess)
Gender: Female
Inventory: Double Clawshot, Two daggers (preffered fighting weapon), Long bow with arrows
Job: She has no official trade. SHe is a Hunter and Fighter.
Description: She appears Gerudo/Hylian (ok?). She has dark red/purple hair, very long, hangs loose down to the middle of her back. She wears a long sleeved black tunic with a bright red wrap over top and a red scarf that runs around her neck and down her left arm. She wears leather knee high hunting boots
Bio: Din has no memory of before about the age of 12. She woke up in a cell, prisoner. She was so upset that when she grabbed the lock on the door it melted. She learned that she had some control over fire and heat. She could throw fire balls and create or extinguish flame and heat, as well as light arrows on fire and heat the metal of her daggers. She was trained by a race of women (gerudo, again I don't know anything about WW) who taught her to fight and use her skills to the fullest. She became very agile and fast. She is amazingly difficult to fight in forested areas as her abilities to move from tree to tree and fight in this type of environment. Once she was through training she became bored, she left the only home she had ever known in search of adventure and a family she had never had. He makes money by entering fighting and archary contests. She wanders in search of a family to call hers and challenges to her skills.

Quick addition to Din's proflie. the name 'Din' was given to her after the goddess from OoT who was known for fire, this was simply the name the Gerudo gave her because she did not know what her name was. (again, i know this has little relavence to the setting of WW, but that is the story)

The story does not end at chapter 10, it continues...But the name of the Story: AotL concludes there. I have a new title for the upcoming story as well. I might either post a new thread when I do write it, or continue it under the AOTL one. I am not sure yet.

He settled and tryed to find Ganon, but Ganon contacted him through telepathy that the hero had returned. After Ganon's demise at the hands of Link, Silvos vowed to destroy Link and his descendants.

I think I'll allow your character in, but this is surely the last one I'll be accepting. The story already was canceled, but I started over again and your character will appear in the new story, as well as the others. The story is called The Xeld Anecdotes.

Bio: After a War that broke loose in the Deep blue Sea, Dan and his dad found themselves stranded on an Island, that Island was Rocks' spire Island, One day while trying to find a way to go back to their home back in WindFall Island a Tornado came wiping everything they had, during the Cyclone Danny got separated from his father and landed on MOther and Child Isle with nothing but a shiel that his father made out of the rock from the Island, after being lonely in MaCi the queen of fairies saw his suffering and grnted him with the Queen if Fairies Sword and the strengh to go back and sail in the deep blue sea. Afer he built a cheap raft the wind took him to the shores of Dragon Roost Island were he then spoke to Lord Valoo which granted him the Bow of Destiny, a fine bow made from the best wood and metal and dragon clawed ends which shot arrows that had dragon fangs on the tip. When he went back to the shore just to find out that somebody stole his raft, he then took a ride with a little guy who happened to have a mobile ship store, his name was Beddle, Dan though he could just go back to his homeland, but he had to find his father first. He always convinces himself aslepp with the thought that his fther is still alive.

Appearance: Tall, Weights around 190, Has torn clothes, Has tan Skin, jet black short hair, Bloodshot brown eyes, a
and a serius expression on his face. He later takes the Alias of "Bane".
