The Wind Temple........

As awesome as this game is, I just have to say, I HATE THE WIND TEMPLE! :yuck::S:mad::sick::O:(>:(:cry: This temple drove me crazy! It's my least favorite temple in a zelda game! Worse than the Water Temple from OOT! Worse than the Snowhead and Great Bay Temples from MM! Worse than well every Alttp dungeon! Does anybody else agree or disagree?

the only reason i dislike it was i didnt get everything on my first time through off the bottom floor that i could so i had to keep going down their and kept accidently hurting the little plant guy

I'll admit the Wind Temple can be a frustrating or at least annoying dungeon. I'd have to say it's probably my least favorite out of the entire game, but for me that seems to be true with wind or air related dungeons.

I don't really hate it, but some of the wind parts (especially in that big main room with the giant fan) are annoying, especially when trying to get both Link and Makar through them. I also thought Makar's ability to sprout plants was odd, underused, and not terribly interesting.

But I actually liked the Water Temple, Snowhead Temple and Great Bay Temple. :xd: If anything, I'd say the only dungeon out of the entire series I really dislike is the City in the Sky from Twilight Princess. >.<

It wasn't as bad as the water temples. Especially the one in OoT. You had to rise and lower the water level, several times, collect a ton of keys, and it took way longer. The wind temple, you could drop to the ground anytime you wanted, or use the big fan to lift yourself to any level. There were less keys to collect. The final boss was sort of cool, and I liked the music!

I actually ended up going and buying a $20 book walkthrough for TP just because of that.
And it was the simplest thing. Very frustrating.


Anyway, yes the Wind Temple is pretty annoying.
Overall it wasn't that bad though.

Hrrmm... Am I the only one who actually enjoyed the Wind Temple in WW? It was one of my favorite dungeons in the game. Unlike most people, I liked the whole idea of wind and the giant fan was a great concept. It was a bit challenging too, some enemies were great and there was plenty of them. The mini-boss and the boss were both awesome, one of the best mini-boss/boss battle in WW. I also liked the atmosphere of the temple. The hookshot was cool and fun to use, especially with the combination of the Iron Boots. And controlling Makar was fun to me. :)

So, I enjoyed the Wind Temple a lot. I even prefered it over the Earth Temple...

My issue with the Wind Temple is not the idea of the fan, it's the controls. I had so much trouble going where I wanted in the Wind Temple, especially in that big fan room. I don't like my ability to control and play properly being taken away from me.

For all it's repetition and difficulty, the Water Temple and Great Bay Temple at least were easy to control. You never had trouble controlling during any portion. That's my problem with the Wind Temple.

I enjoyed the Wind Temple. It was a good dungeon. I just think there are annoying parts that I don't like so much, and that I think could have been removed or improved upon to make the dungeon even better. I also agree that the Wind Temple's boss and miniboss were probably the best ones in all of WW. And Molgera's battle music was just incredible.

Humorously, the Earth Temple was actually my favorite dungeon in all of WW. :xd:

Meh I hated Earth and Wind because of makar and the bird person (medli?) getting captured by floormasters.the wind temple was worse though and anyways I hated that boss

Yeah, it's my least favourite temple in The Wind Waker. It was just really frustrating at times, and I hated the floor masters. The main room with the big fan got on my nerves because I could never remember which way I had to go. =(

I just finished it and I loved it!!! How silly it may sound but I love the floormasters. Mainly because they are a bit like: Nah nah! I know they aren't in the Wind Temple for the first time in the game ;) They were there in the Earth Temple and Forsaken Fortress too but they are so funny!!!
I loved working with Makar. He is so cute!

Oh...... I'm on the Wind Temple right now... I ACCIDENTLY SKIPPED WHERE YOU GET THE BOSS KEY!!! I got to the end after figuring out the fan room, and was like "Finally..." and then I saw that lock, and all my dreams were broken in two...... OH, CRUEL FATE!!!D:D:D:D:D:D:
