Invader Zim

I just started watching Invader Zim online. I can't believe what I was missing! Invader Zim is about an alien exiled to Earth. The problem is, he doesn't actually know he's been exiled. He thinks he's been assigned a mission to conquer Earth for the Irken Empire (Irken is the name of Zim's species). With the help of a hyperactive robot named GIR, he attempts to take over a planet full of people who don't even know he's an alien!

This show was on Nickelodeon, but was canceled a while back. It's almost unbelievable how such a funny show was canceled! Thankfully, episodes are still available on Youtube and similar websites.

I used to watch it back in the day while it was still on TV, and it was a good show, but I can understand why they cancelled it. All things considered, it had a lot of non-child-friendly themes.

well, anywho...I really loved the show, and i'm still watching some of the episodes that I missed online.
It's a shame that it got cancelled but...oh well.

Right now nicktoons is having a special where they show it every night, but obly for March. I watched it when it first came out and I did and still do love it. Between Gir's randomness, Zim stupidity, and Dib's anxiety, it's hard to get trough an unseen episode without laughing.

The show is great in that, you want Zim to take over the Earth, but you also want Dib to prove that Zim's an alien. It has such great characters that I find myself rooting for every character to succeed, even if one character's success means another character's failure. Plus GIR is funny as all hell, and Johnen looks exactly like my sister's boyfriend. I bet they're long lost twins...:hmm:

I remember that show airing on Nickelodian as a kid! That show was my favorite show! I was so pissed when Nickelodian took it off their tv station! Stupid parents and their complaints about it being too gross for kids! The voice for Zim was so humorously evil! He had the most memorable laugh ever. Then there was Gir, who was the weirdest and oddest cartoon character anyone could humanly possible meet. Which made him ever so much funnier! You literally didn't know what he was gonna do or say till he has said and done it.

It pained me to see Nick cancel Invader Zim and put on Zoey 101 and Rugrats All Grownup. Feeding the new kids that they need grow up, start dating, and have as much teen drama they humanly possible can do in the 6 years they're in highschool! I will give Nick credit that they changed their ways about that and are airing more humor shows like Drake and Josh, iCarly, and of course Sponge Bob. I still say kids these days need to watch a tiny robot eat fish tacos as they addict as drugs.

Could never get into it, it's interesting but I don't see the point of it. I'll admit I don't watch a lot of tv (more about the movies) and that in my opinion a lot of tv shows are garbage but for what it's worth the animation of the show was neat, and the characters seem original.

I don't think that this shows on Nick anymore but its on Nick Toons which is just another channel. I never really saw it but it sounds good so I'll check on YouTube sometime soon.
