This is just me thinking about a plot hole I've noticed, and that's where the King of Red Lions talks about the fact that you usually can enter the Earth and Wind Temple (to recharge the Master Sword) through Hyrule, but you are for some reason unable to do so. The King of Red Lions then mentions that there should be entrances above the sea.
Have any of you noticed anything that could look like an entrance from Hyrule? Something maybe caved-in or otherwise unreachable? Preferably, these entrances would be in the bottom floors, closer to Hyrule.
I know Nintendo probably never paid attention to that detail, but still it's something (I think is) worth considering.

It's possible other temples were discovered between the time Hyrule flooded and after the events of OoT. And we can't see much while walking through old Hyrule in TWW. Everything is just scenery.

I feel this is more of a Gameplay point than anything else.
If they put any kind of other door or entrance/exit, people would attempt to get through them and then complain that there's a door/entrance/exit they can't get through and complain about it's redundancy, like the door to Fado's house in Twilight Princess, or that one door in a level in FSA people were confused about at one point.....though they then figured it was a one way door for you to get back up if you fell down a hole.....so yeah.....

Yeah, I was thinking something that could indicate an entrance was once there. Of course not an actual door, then everybody would have noticed that. Maybe a kinda-strange-if-you-think-about-it-for-too-long pile of "rocks" or other scenery that maybe indicate an opening to Hyrule was once there.

Well it may be possible that there were once entrances to the Earth and Wind Temples through Old Hyrule were blocked via the Great Flood (flood comes in and kicks up sediment which settles into a barrier which blocks the path to the Temples) and we know that (word for word KoRL quote) 'The Sages should be here in Hyrule...in the Wind Temple to the north and the Earth Temple to the south, praying to the gods. You must head to these two temples to see what has happened to the sages and find a way to recover the power to repel evil. Unfortunately, Ganon seems to have erected some sort of magical barrier down here in Hyrule, blocking our path to the temples. But...each temple should have another entrance high upon Hyrule's mountaintops, which are now islands above the sea.'
It may also be that the temples' entrances below the waves are beyond Old Hyrule's protective bubble, meaning Link would drown trying to get to it. Also it may be possible that the 'barrier' Ganon created was not only the one surrounding Old Hyrule castle but also the dirt walls which would've prevented Link from getting to the temples' entrances.

You bring up some very good points (and that's the exact quote that made me notice the plot hole, I just couldn't remember it.).
For the Shadow (*cough* I mean Earth) Temple, methinks the Hyrule Entrance would be in the immobility cloud at the bottom of the room with the Boss Door, or some other lowest point (that immobility cloud (as I like to refer to it; the one that doesn't let you attack) in the Boss Door room seems like a good candidate, but it's that stupid floormaster down there.)
I have thought about this before, but rather than wondering where the entrances where within the flooded Hyrule, I actually wondered where the entrances would have been within the Temples themselves. Now, I haven't hunted out areas that looked like they coul dhave once been an entrance, but along my travells, I did not happen to see anything.
Something I find interesting is that the Temples seemed to be layed out according to the alternative mountain-top entrance rather than the original entrance. It's almost like if you had been able to go in the original way, you could just skip a few rooms of the dungeon.

The part about temples being designed around the alternative entrance simply stems from the fact that Nintendo doesn't pay attention to great detail. That kind of realism is very hard to remember to implement.
I can't think of a single location for the Wind Temple that would serve as an entrance.

in the earth temple i guess the large stair case at the end could have fallen off into peices as you see when you play and the entrance from Hyrule could have been farther down the Staircase

Are you talking about the staircase in the room with the Boss Door? In that case, a giant cave-in of rocks at the bottom would definitely would make sense.
BTW, any good locations in Wind Temple? That's one's harder.

In the beta you were able to fully explore Old Hyrule, the took out most of the arias you could explore and made most of the ground unsolid around the aria we can now walk in. Such as, Lake Hylia was originally swim in-able.
