The back story cut-scene of Spirit Tracks (http://www.zeldadungeon.net/Zelda13-spirit-tracks.php) has been revealed and it is in the form of a slide show, very similar to that of the introduction from Phantom Hourglass (http://www.zeldadungeon.net/Zelda12-phantom-hourglass.php). It gives away a lot of the back story of the game, but I wouldn't classify this as being a heavy spoiler video, since it is one of the first things you see when playing the game. Take a look for yourself and head on over to our Zelda Forums (http://zeldadungeon.net/forum/) to discuss.

Cool, I like it! I thought it would have loads of references to Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass, but it didn't. Still, it's cool. ^^

I did the almost, kinda Japanese music. Yet more good Spirit Tracks music. Yay!

The artwork was pretty serious this time. Even though it had the same style as PH did, the story was much less lighthearted, but more mysterious and intriguing. I like it. I'm getting very excited by this game. :)

Yeah I know! It's awesome! I love this scene! So intriguing and mysterious!

And at around the one minute mark pause the vid. See it? The four Triforce looking things in the corners of the bottom screen? I think we can safely say that the spirits are those Triforce things or at least somehow related to them (like it was with Din, Nayru, and Farore and the Triforce pieces). Those things intrigue me to no end and I saw this just a matter of moments ago.

Hmm, I actually expected much more than that. Guess my expectations are already getting too high. It seems like the basic plot we've always had; bad guy comes, gets sealed, breaks out, and Link comes to seal/kill him. And with no references to any past games at all, this really didn't pump me up all that much. I would hope that's not the whole thing, and that there's more to it, because it seems like a rather lazy plot just from that little tidbit. The music however, was excellent, which makes me very happy. Every Zelda game, whether it was good or bad, has had at least one amazing track, and I'm very pleased to see that ST will be no different.

Looks like it's going to be a fun game. I just hope that's not the whole beginning scene.

At the 40 sec mark, with the Spirits fighting the Demon King, the Spirits are shown as waves, this is perhaps TWW. Also I'm fairly sure the Demon King is Ganon. Same scary darkness and eyes as in TWW BS. The bit about it being a long war, and much bloodshed, is probably due to people embellishing the legend.

Either way, great video :)

I betcha my Nintendo Card that good ol' Niko appears RIGHT after the story has been told.

other than that, the story proved unsettling, It did not provide any answers to my questions on things but i guess it would be better this way. It would Spoil too much if i knew who and what will be occuring in the near future.

Also the music is nearly the EXACT SAME music in which Zelda was playing the instrument in the game. I saw the video of some clips of ST, i think it's around here but I'm not sure.

anyway this game hopefully will surprise all of us, not just the beginners of the game but the veterans as well.
