As odd a thread as it sounds (and I don't know if there was one like this before), but humans can't help but be (even slightly) morbidly curious about injuries. So here's my question- what's the worst injury you've had/can remember?

For me, it's probably when I tore my right knee open to the bone on a nail when I was... 5? Oddly, I can't remember pain or anything, but just sitting there holding this pale blue flannel that was soaked brown with my blood o_o
Otherwise, it's the time I got hit in the face while playing hockey. I still have a scar in my eyebrow from that, and the sight of the gravel floor forever fixed into my memory xD

But what about you guys? Anyone ever been knocked unconscious? What bones have you broken? Anything obscure happen to you? What injury would you hate to have? Discuss :)

I've never been one who's prone to injury, so I don't really have many cases that have been that serious. Here's a few though:

When I was younger, apparently I was smart enough, to take a pot of boiling water off of the stove, and drench my arm in it. I don't quite remember how bad it was, I don't remember it, but I think it was high 2nd-degree burns.

I think about 4 years ago, I damaged one of my arms to the point that it hurt for about a month, although I don't quite remember what I did to achieve that.

And then earlier this year, was probably the worst since I actually remember and did go through that, was what I presumed to be a sprained ankle, maybe a little more. I was playing kickball at school in Gym class, and I jumped up to try and catch a ball, but landed back down on the side of my left foot. That caused it, and it hurt pretty badly for more than a month. What sucked about it, was it happened 1 week to almost the hour of when we got out of school for the summer, so the first 1/3 of summer was wasted because of that.

The worst I've done is sprained my wrist ice skating one year. I couldn't write with it, so that was annoying.

Otherwise, I screwed up my knee bad once in PE at age 12 and I had to wear a brace to run. I don't run anymore (goodbye high school!) so I don't know if it still bothers me.

Probably the hearing loss I had on my left ear for a couple of years. When I was a kid I had a lot of operations done on my eardrums. They'd get infected like every year and sometimes both at the same time. My right eardrum healed with no further consequences, but after a couple of years my left eardrum was still prone to infections and whatnot. After a few years my left eardrum was so messed up it was beyond recovery and I needed a donor. Needless to say I had to get surgery a few weeks later and I've hearing fine since then.

While sprinting I broke my left arm once. I fell pretty hard and could only hold my arm in one position. The janitors at school told me that it was defintely not broken though... Well, after a visit to the hospital it turned out it was. Having my arm cast was pretty neat though! :D

Luckily I haven't really experienced any serious injuries. Though I've been through some pretty crazy stuff... Had one of these (http://www.basicft.nl/BasicFT/images/images/mb-trolley.jpg) on my head and that turned out to be a concussion. :P

When I was a young child (around 6 or 7), I was running around barefoot in my yard and stepped right down on a piece of glass. I still have the scar on the bottom of my right foot. Not long after that healed, I cut up my left foot on a broken mirrior inside the house when I'd stepped into a room after it had dropped.

As for something unusual, a couple of years ago, I was run over by one (or more, I couldn't tell) horses. I was working at a ranch at the time and was leading a pair of horses out of their paddock and trying to keep one more inside as I closed the gate. Something got them excited and the next thing I knew, I was on the ground and felt hooves on my back. They didn't press down hard, though - it was like the animals realized that they were stepping on a human and got off. Oddly enough, I was not injured by that nearly as much as I could have been or even should have been. My ribs were intact... all I got from it was some bruises, which went away after a while. I mean... it could have been a lot worse, that. I came out of that wondering just *why* I didn't suffer any broken bones.

When I was about 2 or so, I got a sewing machine needle stuck in my finger. That was a fun moment.
Age 4, my friend pushed me down a flight of stairs... backwards. Also quite fun.
When I was 7, I slammed the car door on my thumb.
Age 11, got an old rusty nail shoved through my right hand. Then a year and a half ago, I got another old rusty nail shoved through my left hand. Yay for no Tetanus!
Age 17 my friend broke my thumb. I'll admit, those 2 weeks of wearing the cast weren't as bad as I thought they would have been.

There are definately like a million other things that happened to me.
My family gave me a nickname when I was little 'Bull in a China Shop'. I wonder why...

During baseball practice I was right field and the sun was in my eyes. A pop fly came over to me and hit me right in the mouth. My head felt fuzzy and I ran in as fast as I could. My coaches said I was the toughest kid on the team. I wore a batting helmet the rest of the season. I also had a fractured on one of my top teeth. My lip sweld up. Iwas afraid Icouldn't go to school because it was WASL week

Well. I don't get a lot of injuries, but about a year ago I fractured my ankle roller skating. That really sucked because I missed the entire second half of my football season, and I missed about a week and a half of school because it goes against public building code and does not have wheelchair access. :( So that. Really sucked. Though I did catch up on my PVP in World of Warcraft.

Other then that, I have not really had any bad injuries. One time I sprained my thumb playing soccer, and it hurt like hell. And I couldn't write. Which wasn't to bad. I also couldn't play video games. I found this out the hard way when playing Left 4 Dead..

I broke my thumb playing baseball when I was seven. After my thumb nearly doubled in size, my finger nail fell off.

I had at least 2 serious injuries.

1. When I was 6, I was climbing up a mcdonalds slide at a birthday party (stupid, I know :P) and as I reached the top, someone pushed me over. It was like a 20 foot plunged to the concrete ground. I broke my shoulder bone.

2.When I was 8, we were playing tips and the bar was a very rough, concrete surfaced pole and I was running full pace to it, someone tripped me over and BANG! My nose was bleeding all over, I couldn't breathe and yeah, I couldn't run or do anything.

Apart from that, nothing much, my knee and shin bone got ripped so bad that you could see the bone but apart from that, nothing else. :P

I had a small bicycle accident two years ago. Someone suddenly stopped and I couldn't stop in time, so I fell and I ended up with a small crack on the head of my left upper arm bone. I had to walk around with a mitella for two weeks and I had to write all my exams with my right hand D:. Eventually it healed, but 5 months later, I got an infection at the same spot so I couldn't lift my arm again. I'm still quite carefull with my left shoulder, because I don't want an infection again.

Other than that I luckily had no other bad injuries :).

When I was 6 I went to recess. There were alot of black pieces of stone along the edges of the sidewalk so I tripped on one and skinned my knee and elbow. So some nerdy guy took me to the nurse (who was a substitute) and there was alot of slow burning pain. The snot nosed geek kid took me back to the playground and guess what? It ended. I still had a mark on my knee and it hurt when it was touched.

One time I was swimming in a public poll. I was swimming really close to the bottom of the pool, and I didn't realize it suddenly sloped up. I chipped about a third of one of my two front teeth right off. Luckily my dentist was able to restore it with an almost exact match of color.

Another day, I was chasing my sister up our stairs. She quickly turned into my parents' bedroom and slammed the door. I however tripped and fell just far enough to get my head partway through the door...I heard a loud bang and it all went black for 5 minutes or so. I was fine later, but it was kinda odd...

I get minor injuries pretty frequently. Lots of cuts and scrapes and bruises... lots of which I don't really know where they came from... But the point is, I hardly ever get seriously injured.

Worst injury I ever got was from this one time it was raining and I was carrying big fifty pound bags of potting soil. I was walking down some steps (small ones, about four to six steps) carrying one of the bags. I slipped and fell backwards onto the steps. No major injury until the bag came down on top of me, into my stomach. It knocked the wind out of me, but the force of the impact pushed my back into the steps, and the corners essentially spiked into my spine. I got up right away but the pain was so bad I couldn't stand.

My mom wouldn't let me move. She was worried I had a spinal injury (they can cause permanent paralysis). I rode in an ambulance and got x-rays. Luckily, it was just a bad bruise. But it was a really bad bruise. I couldn't move very well and had to walk slow, and the pain was so bad I couldn't sleep at night and I had to take Advil to get rid of the pain. This is especially noteworthy because I'm known to be extremely stubborn about drugs. I hardly ever take them and resist them whenever possible, only using them when I absolutely have to. There was only one time other than this particular injury where I can remember taking Advil.

Well, I woldn't reffer to myself as prone to injuries but...

About four or five years ago, while outside with my friends, we were running somewhere, when suddenly, I tripped over a tree stump concealed in the grass.
I fell, and thwacked my head off some iron bars.

At first, I felt quite dizzy, but I eventually rose to my feet and the dizziness wore off.
I felt a warm feeling running down the side of my face.
I knew it was blood, but I thought there was only a little.
Only when I arrived home did I discover that the blood was absolutely everywhere.
On the back of my shirt, down my back, even on my shoes!

I went to hospital, and I thought I was getting a stitch. The doctor came along, grabbed a stapler, and slammed stapled my head. :(

Another one of my incidents was when I and my friends were sitting on our skateboards.
A passerby kiked mine, and I want speeding down a hill.
I was managing to stay stable and I eventually slowed myself down, that was until, I felt some object being ran over by the wheel.

When I finally stopped I couldnt move. I couldnt even rise to my feet.
I twisted my head and stared at my finger, which was spouting blood. D:
I got the wound cleaned up, and saw that my fingernail was cracked and hanging off, along with half of the skin on my little finger...

The nail did fall off after a while, and eventually, a brand new one grew, stronger than ever!

But other than those incidents, I'm mostly prone to bruises and cuts, most of which, I can't explain!

I've had an assortment of injuries over the years, although I can only remember 2 in any great detail, which are:

Burning myself (when I was about 14) with molten plastic (a result of teenage pyromania).

Cutting my wrist (unintentionally) on a window (whilst attempting to throw a snowball out).

Some years ago, in high school, I took a dare and decided to jump off the visiting stands at the football field. I landed flatflooted and broke both of my heels. Had to have surgery in which they put some nails inside of them to restructure the bones.

But on the plus side, I learned to do a wheelchair wheelie.

In the past 4 years, my right ankle and foot have taken a lot of damage. I truly cannot pick the worst out of these situations, except after the first time I had hurt my ankle and foot - the pain has progressed and taken longer to recover. The first time I had harmed my ankle, was when I was jumping on the trampoline with Tom, which had resulted in torn ligaments. I've had a heifer step on my foot, which bruised and stretched the healing ligaments. Luckily, I last had gotten damage on the ligaments in my ankle in the spring of this year, so I've taken a lot of time to heal.

I'm clumsy, too, so I'm just hoping I don't injure my ankle further every year.

I have had many injuries, none of which I would consider serious, but some of my most recent include;

1- Burning myself with hot glue in school, while working with circuit boards.
The burn was to the top of my finger, and over the last few days, the skin has fallen off, and has began to heal.

2- My ankles have taken alot of abuse lately, I have fallen down the stairs twice because of them.
This was probably caused by an accident over the Summer holidays, which involved my friends little brother landing on top of my ankle. I couldnt walk for two weeks without pain.

3- I was whacked in the eye by a picture which was hanging on the wall of our school.
I was walking past it, when the person in front of me caused it to swing forward, then back into my face.
Even now, my eye really hurts. :(

My worst injury was last year when I went under a flatbed truck and when I was coming out from under it I lifted my head to early and a piece of metal cut a V-shaped cut in my head. I bled 2 liters of blood on my way to the hospital and then when I got there I passed out and that is all I remeber.

That day always scares me when i have a nightmare about it.D:

I've cracked my head open 3 times, the first I hit hy head on a spade and almost died, the 2nd I actually can't remember (I've had terrible memory since the first one lol) and the 3rd I got tripped over by my brother and hit my head on the end of my bed.
I've also broken my wrist twice and cut my knee open to the bone.

When I was 8, I hit my knee with a rusty nail. It hurt a lot, and I had to go to the hospital to get some sort of medical glue to close the wound.

My worst injury was something I can barely remember if it was even true...

Was long ago when I was younger, maybe when I was 8 or 9. I was playing with my older brother outside while everyone was outside and our aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandparents were there. So I guess that was the reason we were outside.

My brother was kind of demented, and he messed with metallic poles of some sort. It had a point on it. And he threw it at me, thinking I was going to catch it.

Well... I did go to catch it, but all that I remember is the sharp end going through my leg... I remember nothing after that, or if it's even true. o-o

Well I guess my worst injury was when I was four and I broke my wrist. My a** of a big sister decided to cherry bomb me on a see saw and the end result was a broken wrist. They had to put pins in my wrist to try to help it heal a little more and I still have the marks from where they were. The oddest thing about that though was that I didn't cry. I know it sounds crazy but I didn't. It's the truth and I don't really care if you think I'm lying because if you do then blame my Mom because she's the reason I think that. Aside from that the worst thing I've ever gotten is probably a stubbed toe or a bruise.

EDIT: Okay I forgot something that would also be considered a nasty injury. Okay so I was cooking pasta on the stove and I went to turn down the heat on the burner. It was an on an outer burner and it was right beside the side of my fridge (no it wasn't the electric coil just the metal side). Apparently the fridge had recieved quite a bit of heat and as you can guess I put my arm against the fridge (unintentionally) and I got a pretty nasty burn. I didn't have to go to the hospital but it stung for days (I even concocted a way to play my Wii without taking my arm off of my ice pack) and there was an imprint of the side of the fridge on my arm for the next few weeks. And this happened to me around the end of August when I joined.

I'm always prone to various cuts and bruises, but I've never had a really severe injury that I can remember. Oh, but there was one time when I was either 5 or 6, I was playing on our swingset outside, and i was trying to climb up the slide. But I fell and my front tooth slammed against the slide (it was a permanent tooth) and nearly came out. It was really loose, and my parents had to take me to a dentist. Luckily the tooth didn't fall out!

Hmm... when I was 2 or 3 I was climbing on the counters in our house, and I put my hand flat on a hot over burner. >.<

Ooh! And here's something else: Acetone + open wound = not fun.

I rarely injure myself, so it's tied between:

A few years ago my sister and I were having a poke fight on the couch. She got me in the eye by accident. We got it looked at (I got to go to the emergency room for it) and my cornea was badly scratched. If we hadn't treated it quick enough I would have a really bad scar and be pretty much blind in that eye. But gladly that didn't happen, but when I look through the microscopes at school I can see a little bit of a scar there.

Or...

Around second grade I was walking along the edge of my deck in the front yard. My house is on a hill and the driveway cuts into it. I wasn't looking where I was going and fell off the wall into the driveway and landed in an old leaf pile. I sprained my wrist. It hurt pretty bad. But it wasn't that horrible, I just couldn't lean on it for about a month.

OR...

On my eighth grade ski trip I fell down at the top of the hill. I had landed to the side, but the next person to come down happened to do the exact same thing. Their ski dug into the back of my right hand. I have a pretty scar there now. And a dent, but it doesn't hurt anymore unless you poke it really really hard.

Over the last few years I have had many injuries, all of them weird but none of them disabled me too much.

I thiink it was four years ago I was playing sprout ball (like dodgeball) in a soccer camp. I was one of the 8 people left. The counsler threw a ball at me, I tried to catch it. I did, mostly. The ball landed between my ring finger and my pinky. For a few seconds I wondered how it fit. Then I noticed that my pinky was at about a 90 degree angle from my ring finger. I later found my pinky was broken but I don't remember if it was the left or right one, but it didn't matter because during the summer I didn't need to write anything.

Two years later I was running at my sisters birthday carrying balloons I tripped landed on my big toe, I started bleed. I found out my big toe was broken. I couldn't put my shoe on with alot of pain so I had to wear this weird boot thing and wearing it I won a game of circle dodgeball (your in the middle and people on the out side of a circle roll balls at you)

The summer that same year I went to my friends house to play SSBB I think we were having a captian falcon contest. just 2 people left me and Max. I was jumping like crazy. then I leaned my friends couch was a bunch of chairs put togather. My foot went in my little toe twisted broke and I lost.

I've never really been through any serious injuries.. I haven't broken any bones yet or any thing like that but I remember one injury where I had to get stitches on my lip, It was when I was 5 or something like that I was at this party blow up thing that you go through and after I went through it I ran full speed back to the start and I ran so fast I couldn't stop myself and my lip crashed right into the window sil I fell back and my lip was gushing blood hadda go to hospital and get stitches :(

I've never had any horrible injuries. But here are the worst ones I remember.

1. I was walking past an old computer desk with sharp corners... and I felt into it with my hip, making a pretty wide and deep cut, but not deep enough to reach bone.

2. I broke the nail on my left hand ring finger a little over halfway to the end of the quick. I was terrified that it wasn't going to grow back as far down as it was, but it did.

I don't know what is wrong with my spine. I am pretty sure something is amiss with it, you know, like a displaced disk or something. It's been like four years since I felt back pains, and that kind of pain has not gone away, I feel like my back will lock itself up when I bend a little. It definitely hurts...That is the worst injury I can think of that I've suffered. Oh, then there is my right knee, but that one hurts simply because of too much soccer ball kicking. Yes, as a striker that I am, I have an original goal out in my back yard, my brother and I and friends too, play soccer games there. So, too much playing, too much kicking has probably worn my knee out. It hurts every darn day....even while I am sleeping.

I haven't experienced any severe injuries such as breaking a leg or some other bone if you consider that severe . The probably worst injury type thing I've gotten was a metal rod from a broken antenna scraped up my arm, removing little skin. It didn't hurt or anything. Then some of it healed and there's part that my Mom said may not go away for maybe 15 years. Just a scar.

I'm not entirely sure about my worst. I know I broke my finger once jumping up on the arm of a couch. I put my arms on it then jumped back, causing my finger to get caught on my pocket and be pushed all the way back till it just...snapped.

Another time I wrecked my bicycle. I brought it back on a wheelie, lost my balance and fell back, slamming my funny bone on a rock and it made a gash. Said gash bled so much that a white shirt I had was mostly red and after 4 or 5 washes it had to be thrown away. It bled for quite awhile, to, on an off for about a week. Didn't go to the doctor so I didn't get any stitches.

There was this other bike wreck, too. I was turning and hit some loose gravel and the bike fell over, I was going rather fast, so when I hit I just slid for about a foot or two. Wasn't too fat but it put a gash around where my kidney is, scraped my arm and knee up. It wasn't as bad as the first wreck, though.

The odd part is that the bike I had must have been cursed, since everyone who rode it had some really bad wreck.

There's this story my mom tells me about sometimes, though. Apparently, when I was little, I was jumping on a bean bag (No comment.) and fell head-first into one of those stone areas surrounding a fireplace. It apparently bled really bad and it caused a scar that's been on my forehead since then.

I've had a few more, but those were the worst of them all. As for which is the most worse, well, I can't decide.

Probably the worst injury that I have ever gotten was when I went camping and I was trying this trick on my bike where I balance myself on one pedal and have the other foot hanging off, and then I push the bike along and swing the hanging leg over the back wheel. Me and my cousin had pretty much mastered it when I lost my balance and fell with my leg half way over the bike. I fell onto the cement with the bike on top of me, and scraped up my knee and my elbow pretty badly. The funny thing is that later when my uncle was trying to rip a piece of gauze to put on the knee, his hand came off the gauze with such force that in flew back and hit my cousin who was standing right behind him in the face! Lots of blood that day... XD

Skimmed the topic. My last reply was apparently one of those erased in the last glitch.

Some folks who hang out with me in the Shoutbox know about it. On December 28th - 09, I fell down a flight of stairs at work. I work at a horse ranch and I was coming down from the hayloft in the barn. I don't know whether it was my boots, some debris on the stairs, or my turning back to close the upper door too quickly, but I slipped. I tucked myself under, tumbled over about fifteen steps and slammed into the concrete floor.

After screaming... a lot... I tried to get back up but coworkers told me to lie back down because I had hit my head and head injuries can be tricky. Got to ride in an ambulance, got strapped to a board...

Turns out I cracked the radial bone of my right arm near the elbow. I also had to go back to the hospital a few days after the initial accident because I found out later that I'd had an internal injury (bruised kidney) - thought I was just feeling sick from being bumped and bruised, but it turns out it was more serious. Spent three days in the hospital and was ready to climb the walls by the time they let me out. I took some physical therapy and have spent the last month and a half recovering my arm. I'm back to work, and, aside from occasional soreness in my arm, I'm fully recovered. I'm just glad I have a nice boss who was wiling to cover my medical bills. Most other bosses I've had in my life I probably would have had to sue for that, but not her, she's awesome.

That's the most I've ever been injured. Considering I slammed into solid concrete, one of the people I work with who saw it all is surprised that I'm alive.

Besides my appendicitis (which I won't call an injury because it happens unexpected) the worst injury I had was when a tile felt on my middle finger. Man that's worse! My fingernail had been blue for days..................

I forgot!! My worst injury was when I didn't watch out and cut my rigth foot at some glass. I had to go to the doctor and I got about 5 stitches. Now the scar is hardly visible

well, i always get minor injuries:ive broken my finger and stubbed my toe so bad that i couldnt walk but the main injuries ive had are:

i was jumping up and down on my climbing frame flipping a pancake (yeah, i dunno) (i was like 7) and i fell and cut my stomach right down the middle and i was winded and couldnt walk for like 20 mins but i didnt need stitches but i got a scar but its gone now

and i was 7 again playing at the Whacky warehouse or somewhere and a load of annoying boys from my class were pelting me with multi coloured plastic balls so i threw one at them and it hit them and they started crying like a whimp so he got his brother to pound my face in, i was unconcious for a minute or so but nothing came of it.

also one time i fell out of a bed at my mum and dads friends house and a bookcase was next to me and i banged my face on it and got 2 black eyes but worse my teeth ripped my gum and it bled everywhere, all in could taste for hours was blood!

---------- Post added 02-28-2010 at 11:35 AM ----------

also another of my worst injuries was when i was playing a random toy trumpet and my sister hit the end of it (on purpose) causing the mouth piece to slide into the top of my mouth causing a flap of the skinny stuff on the top of my mouth to come off and bleed and there is a little hole i the top of my mouth now!

Usually I'm very careful about what I do that way I prevent injury. Anyways, my worst injury was definitely when I cut my cornea. I was young and was at my dad's softball game when I took a tree branch and hit a tree with it. The branch snapped and came back to cut my cornea. I was rushed to the hospital where they fixed my eye. When they fixed my though, they did not knock me out, because I clearly remember seeing the doctor put stuff in my eye.

When I was seven, (I'll mention that I'm homeschooled, and back then I was a slacker at school), I tilted my chair back by the back legs and I was still sitting in it, the it came down and I cut my scalp on the piano's bottom board that stuck out. My dad took me to the doctor and i was scared like crazy. The only thing that hurt was when I got the cut and the antiseptic shot. After that, nothing. Then, when I was ten, I was riding my older brother around on my bike, but when we were going down the ramp that lead to our house, I couldn't turn and I 'rode' down to the land lord's and slammed into a cement post. My bike's basket was almost smashed, and I was bleeding on my shoulder, my ribs hurt, and I bled in around my groin. I forgot what it was like to cry so hard you had to take breaths in between sobs until that happened. I wouldn't call it an injury, but I have a cleft/pallet and I had to have a peice of my hip fractured into the pallet. I stayed in the hospital for two days and I couldn't sleep. I still have an area of my hip missing.

I was severely injured when I accidentally ingested several bottles of lamp oil, five bombs, and a rope.

High level competitive figure skating = scary injuries. :(

Yeah. The two worst injuries I've ever had were breaking my back, destroying a major ligament in my knee, and breaking my ankle... X_X I broke my back tripping during an axle that was too close to the wall anyway, so I completely smashed into it backwards and cracked myself downwards. For the knee and ankle injuries, which happened at the same time, I was doing a camel spin and randomly crashed onto my leg. I've had a fair share of concussions, too. Not fun.

I have a quite a few battle scars from skating. If you didn't know, injuries you get from ice contact are much weirder that things that aren't frozen and end up leaving a weird mark. I've got tons of these, haha.

Probably when I scarred my tongue when I was 3. I was rocking on my pushchair and I fell forward and my teeth went into my tongue. Not good times. :(

When I was two or three, I nearly sliced off a part of my finger with a knife. From what I was told later in life, my parents had brought me to a friend's house, I wandered into the kitchen while the adults were talking, must have seen a knife that piqued my interest, and promptly dug it into my flesh since there were no adults around to stop me. Not that big an injury, but it's the only one I've ever had that left a permanent scar.

I burned myself pretty good once. I was cooking with some oil and all of a sudden the pot started smoking. For whatever reason, which I could never figure out, I decided to pick it up. Instantly realizing this was a stupid mistake. But it was too late. Boiling hot oil spilled over my left hand. Luckily though, I live only a block from the hospital. So I got in there fast.

I took pictures of the treatments. I have it on my Facebook account in this album (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=37851&id=1311128969&l=be9a21d654) (Public link, no account required). It's kinda graphic so don't look if you have a weak stomach.

Believe it or not I've never been injured, NEVER! and I've been Biking, Boxing, wrestling, playing soccer and baseball for as long as I can remeber and nothing ever happens to me. I think the worst was one day I was walking and a friend jumped into my back and I wasnt expecting it(I was freaking looking at the floor) and my knee hit the cement floof which bruised it really bad, I had a Barney knee lol.

Ripping the muscles off the back of my skull was probably the worst. Though it was the least painful because I had nerve damage. Short form of the story is that I was sitting on a broken chair and the back legs were not screwed in so when I leaned back on the chair they buckled and I smashed the back of my head into a metal filing cabnit that was behind me. I blacked out and apparently convulsed (I was told this later by people who saw) And when i woke up I couldn't move my head because the muscles weren't there.

Yeah that is probably the top one. Though I have many to tell. lol I am a bit of a clutz.

Well, I had a collapsed lung and torn back muscles at the same time once. Took me two years to recover from that one. Lol.

I had to go through surgery twice on the same year, if that counts. I had a cist on my left ear the first time in the fourth grade. The doctor who did the surgery did a horrible job with the stitches and two busted. At least he got the cist out... for only two years. In the sixth grade, the cist came back. This time, I had a new doctor, who knew more than the first. None of the stitches busted, and the cist has been gone. The only evidence of the surgery now is that I am missing a piece of cartilage in my left ear and everytime I where my glasses, they're crooked on my face. He also said that the way the first doctor did the surgery gave the cist a 40% chance of coming back. It did. How he did the surgery gave the cist a 5% chance of coming back, so I don't think this will happen again.

Umm...I fell off the monkey bars? I actually still have the scar from that one. It tore a gash halfway across my leg. The injury that I remember the most, however, is falling down the hardwood stairs going down to our basement, and landed on the concrete floor. I got up from that one saying I was okay, but after a minute, I started throwing up...Rough night.

My worst injury is when I was bike riding. There was this little bird that just randomly landed right in front of my path. I pulled the the brakes way too fast and the back of the bike went up. I flew off the bike and landed on my hands and knees and then kind of slid across the pavement. The bike fell over on my legs. I was scratched up and bruised. I was cut up too. I screamed out at the bird, "Suicide Bird!" It flew off then. My dad and brother were way ahead of me and didn't see anything. Lol. There were people the were walking behind me. They just turned around a laughed. God, it hurt so much. I had to walk the rest of the way back to my dad's car. I was afraid to get back on the bike that day. That was my worst injury. It is kind of funny though now that I think about it. Lol.

My worst physical injury would be a fall on the chest. They had to do surgery on me. (Including removing some of my nerves, now I can not feel any injury on my stomach.) My worst mental injury would probably be clincal depression.

I'm practically a pain magnet from skidding into walls, getting objects in my eye and school sporting injuries.

However, my worst injury is probably a toss-up between the time I was chopping onions at school and took a chunk out of my finger, thankfully it didn't leave a scar but boy did it bleed for ages. Who would have thought that a primary school which had a nursery with nails would be so dangerous during a cooking lesson which was actually monitored?
Either way, that's in a toss-up with my latest injury with a far less interesting subject. Yes, i'm someone who actually took a good ol' chunk of their leg out with a razor by accident. And when I say a good chunk I mean, it could pass of a cheese grater injury. It wasn't the best thing to happen, not after i'd injured my other foot by whacking it back into the metal step of my bed and taking a chunk out of that too.

Ah, recent injuries from a week ago.

I remember when I was 10 or 11 I hit my toe really hard on a lawn chair. The entire toe and some of the foot was purple, green, and yellow with bruises. I even chipped the nail pretty badly. I couldn't put any weight on it and it really hurt for me to put socks and shoes on. Not to mention a little hard. It was swollen.
I've never been knocked unconscious before; but I have almost passed out. But I don't want to share why. It's sort of gross. I haven't broken any bones either. What I would really hate is to have my ear stabbed far down enough that it would make me go deaf in that ear,

I was injury prone for a long time. I've sprained my left wrist and right ankle numerous times. Seemed like all the time I was on crutches or something. It's been several years since I've done my ankle last, but there are times when I still think it looks a little swollen at times - never fully recovered. Ugh.

Hmm ok i wouldnt say i had alot of bad injuries just some goose eggs on my forehead*like 5 of them) but the worst one was i think i was in 2nd grade or 1st i got in trouble and my grandma made us write senteces if we did get in trouble i had to right about 175 of some very long thing i acnt remember my brother was locked, yeah he was a bad kid, i tried to unlock it by having the pencil lead side aiming for my skin i jumped it hit the lock it sent a hole nearly through, it hurt bad xD, and i got alot of blisters in my palms since i loved swinging on metal bars.

Ok this is really funny to me, i was just watching tv in a room that no one goes in my hands were kinda dirty so i went to the bathroom beside it to wash tehm and i looked in the side mirror, and weirdly everything went so fast and i blanked out for a minute and i had a long scar(its gone) along my left arm. Umm i also blacked out inthe kitchen it hurt my shoulder, and someting else idiotic ive done my brothers use to airplane(make the person pass out) my eldest bro did it, it worked i passed out and hedidnt catch me when i did, i landed on my back and when i woke i was laughing hard, but thats about it i can remember, just passed out alot.

Well, when i was jumping a fence, i accidentally fell down, i think i landed on my stomach, which made not able to breath for about 20 seconds(yea i can hold my breath for that long) and i was trying to gasp for air. Luckily it stopped.

Or that time my sister sat on my ankle when i was 3, so i had to go to the hospital to get surgery on my ankle.

Stood on a nail once, it went in pretty deep, though thankfully not enough to cause any serious permanent damage. It had to be treated with a bunch of injections and other stuff. VERY painful, the sock on my foot was totally washed in blood.

Well, there was this one time in third grade before classes started. Everyone was happily chillin' on the playground, and I was on the swings...The highest and most snazziest orange swing, to be specific. You had to jump to get on it, but once you got going, you basically flew. All was going quite well until I somehow I fell backwards off the swing and flat onto my face. Ended up fracturing my wrist, had a split lip, and my face was covered in cuts because of the mulch.

And there was also this one time where I was three and my 6ft tall cousin sort of accidentally dropped me. >___> Broke my collar bone and part of my shoulder. Fuuuun times. =/

Oh! And I cut my finger with an exacto blade whlist making a customized cardboard box. I was scoring too quickly since I was pressed for time and then I sliced it. It bled for practically four days straight.

When I was nine (I think) some kid at camp got very angry for some reason and started hitting random people in the head with is backpack. Something on his backpack must have hooked on to my ear and part of it riped off half way. When my fried told me my ear was bleeding I freaked out and was taken to the hospital where, after 7 long hours of waiting, I got nine stitches in my ear.
