Out of every cutscene in every Zelda game, which one is your favorite. Mine would have to be the one that shows right before facing Zant. I was so shocking to see this mysterious, evil character revealed to have such an unexpected personality!

My favorite cutscene is when you are about to face Ganon in Oot! It looks cool, this gaint pig-like figure holding to gaint swords starring down apown a puny little hylian kid that has no master sword (sorry Link:P) and then the coolness of that scene is stuck in my head!

I liked that one as well. But also the one in Ocarina of Time
right after the Water Temple. When Link returns to the village
and sees smoke and fire in the distance. I didn't expect that.
And then when he is knocked unconscious and the screen goes dark.
And then it comes on and then off as he comes out of it.

My favourite cutscene is the cutscene that occurs after you deliver the finishing blow to Ganondorf's chest in Twilight Princess, It was just so dark when Zant's neck snapped. It is by far one of my favourite moments in a game, I don't know if I could think of many that are better...

This cutscene is No.5. I like the ominous feel at the beginning, Colin getting really brave (or really stupid in some people's opinions) and sacrificing himmself to save Beth, how Barnes is all scaredy, and finally the heroicness of Link riding in to save the day.

The beginning is easily the most epic cutscene Zelda has ever had and likely the most epic one Zelda will ever have. And Colin's revelation is just awesome. It's almost like he was meant to be a Link.

Easy. In Wind Waker when you complete the Forsaken Fortress for the first time. When the bird grabs you and you see Ganon... it was so epic and creepy, and really set the pace for the rest of the game. I loved it! :D

Runnerups would be the encounter with Ganondorf on your second visit to the Forsaken Fortress, and in TP when you encounter Zant after beating the Lakebed Temple.

The moment you decide to take on Ganondorf with your non powered up Master Sword.
It fails, and Valoo, Quill and a more mature Prince Komali turn up for a big damn heroes moment and save you in dangered behinds.

Probably the end of OoT where Link gets the Master Sword back, and then proceeds to stab Ganon in the head.

A close second is the one where Colin boldly jumps in front of the Bulbin. It brought tears to my eyes when I saw it the first time.

It's a tie between the one where the Tower if the Gods rises out of the sea after Link puts the last pearl on those statue things in Wind Waker and the one where Link plunges the Master Sword into Ganons head at the end of Wind Waker

This. The almost end scene in Wind Waker, right before you fight Ganondorf for the last time. It's just him ranting on about how all he's seen in his life is death, and then he finally, after all these years, manages to get the Triforce, and it's taken away from him in only a few seconds. And then, he just becomes enraged, and it's amazing.

My favorite was when you save Pamela's father from his gibdohood. His realization: What have I done? Pamela, the oblivious, says that he hasn't done anything, it was just a bad dream...poor child.

Such a sad story, had such meaning.

My favourite cutscene was in OoT after you had beaten all the temple and then went back to the Temple of Time. Especially the flashback. That really got to me. For me, other scenes may come close, but they certainly cannot beat this one in epicness.

My favorite cutscene would have to be at the end of TP from after you beat Ganondorf to the very end when Midna breaks the twilight mirror. Second would be in OoT when you defeat Gohma and the Great Deku Tree dies. Why did Midna have to disappoint Link at the end of TP?

#1. Koume and Kotake capture Nabooru as she drowns in the sand.

#2. Towards the end, before you actually face the Twinrova sisters, the cut scenes before and after you defeat the darknut.

I'd have to say that it's a tie.

The first one is in Wind Waker. It's when you meet Ganondorf in the Forsaken Fortress and he introduces himself. The expression on Link's face is so hilarious! With that reaction, you could easily tell what was running though his mind: Your face is ugly! :lol:

The second one is in Phantom Hourglass. This one's when you're about to be crushed by a pillar after your first encounter with Bellum, and Oshus teleports you on top of Linebeck. He was like: "Look who it is, falling out of the sky and onto MY head. Watch were you teleport people, old man!" Linebeck is hilarious. I did like the one on the Ghost Ship when he gets mad that there's no treasure, but it's not as funny.

This scene was just wonderful. Ganondorf monologues, and manages to put the Triforce back together. When he makes his wish, Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule touches the Triforce before Ganondorf. And Ganondorf's expression afterwards made me LOL, same with his evil laugh soon afterward.

When Link lands the final blow on Ganon in OOT. It just looks really cool. And when Zant almost killed midna. I always saw midna as more of an annoyance then anything else, and i was glad to see her put in her place and wouldnt have mind if he went a little further.

Anyway, my favorite cutscene is definitely the scene in WW before the final battle against Ganondorf, like many other people here. That part was wonderful and a absolutely a great moment.

I also liked most of the cutscenes in TP, especially the one when the spirit Lanayru tells Link the story of the Godesses and the Fused Shadows. That one was particularly awesome. :)

The cutscene where link stabbed Ganon 'beast' EPIC! (end OOT) And the end of OOT when Navi leaves Link and he takes for the last time a peak at the mastersword, it was like he knew this was the end of his stoy and he finaly can live in peace without being the hero of time, I really got tears!

When the town was destroyed in MM. Just the epicness of the moon crashing down on the clock tower and when you see Deku Link in blackness, then you see the fire or destruction coming from the moon, then that creepy mask salesman.

Well, my favorite cutscene would be from the latest Zelda game, ST. It wasn't one of pure epicness, but it was one that I found to be hilarious. :xd:

The scene that I'm referring to (and I'm going to describe it very little to prevent those who have not played it yet from getting spoiled greatly) was when Link and Zelda first meet Anjean and she tells them what the bad guys are going to do. I literally laughed out loud when that scene played. I would have the same reaction that Zelda had around the beginning of that scene if I was in her place.

In the Wind Waker, the first time you get to the Forsaken Fortress, when Link is about to get launched out the cannon. I love the fact that he had a different facial expression at each second in the countdown.

Link and Zelda moments are my favorite cutscenes. I loved it when they hold hands together in Twilight Princess and Spirit Tracks! I love the chemistry in almost every game they are seen in.

Did they ever hold hands in TP? I must've missed that...but yeah, I love that little moment too in ST. That and the scene right after they defeat Byrne was rather amusing.

My favorite cutscene of all would probably be in MM, at the end of the Anju-Kafei sidequest right as they embrace. You don't need high quality graphics and perfectly rendered facial expressions to convey that kind of emotion, just some great storytelling and fabulous dialogue, and a simple, honest visual.

The end of Ocarina of Time when Link ***** slaps Ganon in the face, the proceeds to sink the Master Sword into his forehead.

In Twilight Princess, when in Kakariko Colin pushes Beth out of the Bulbin Kings path and saves her, that was breathtaking.

I do suppose my favorite's when we first actually encounter Zant. We were there and then we turned around AND HE SCARED THE HECK OUT OF ME! And then this long talk between Zant and Midna, and then Zant hints that he's using power from Ganondorf, and uses the light spirit to make Midna almost nothing. Crafty, and it sort of set the score to get to the Master Sword.

The first one with Zant was a great first glimpse of him. The Ganon execution was great too. Twilight Princess was really well done as far as cut scene and whatnot go. I always gave Barnes a southern accent when you first go to Kakariko as a wolf, just the impression I get for the character.

My favourite would be when the Bublin King takes Colin, one for the dramatic character development and two when the Bublin King lifts up his helmet Barnes lips his down, I thought that was just a great use of symbolism.
