Okay so this is a strange thought. Luigi Kart. Okay so i was looking for a new avatar and I found this in google images http://www.vgboxart.com/boxes/DS/20807_luigi_kart_ds.png

Heh heh heh... Luigi Drove into the camera... classic... so anyways what do you think of the idea of Luigi Kart trampling Mario Kart? I think it would be classic. And maybe there would be a demolition derby mode where you crash into other people and the last one standing wins. That would be cool.

Thing is, it'd be exactly the same as Mario Kart. Also, the demolition derby idea wouldn't work because one of the heavy characters would ALWAYS win. It would only work if they did it in sort of weight catagories.

Yeah, they really would have no point to spend money on a game, that has already been made. All they would do is change the pic. and name, and keep the same content. The Demolition Derby would be that only reason I would think about buying that game IF they made it. And since that is a Fan Art pic, I see no real chance that they will make it.

i think that whorever had that idea was thinking of a new gameplay, well as my point of view luigi kart DS looks like more far away from a normal game, since the title was allways 'mario' kart, you see, the gameplay of crush is something that a race game never had, well... only crash nitro kart and konamy krazy racers are the only 2 destructive race games that i have played, good pic for a DS cover.

Yeah. I think the main problem is it's going to be basically the same game, because changing one character doesn't change how the game is played. Sure if they could make some better improvements to it it'd be a better game, but I'd just be a waste of money and I don't think Nintendo would ever do it.

Luigi Kart is just as Mario kart. it will have the same gameplay, the same characters and everything will be the same. It's a very nice box-cover, but to make a whole came that's named Luigi Kart is just pathetic. Some new battle stuff or much more challenging courses would be amazing.
What they can do also a little bit less are the items. In Mario Kart Wii it's almost a Casino game, it's all about pure luck, so crashing some other drivers would be better than using those stupid items for winning the game. Actually in MK Wii it's rather difficult to be the first since i've alwast the ''spikey'' blue shell on my foots.

But they will never make a special Kart game about Luigi. Luigi is just a playable character into all the Mario games. And Mario is the ''head'' out of all the Mushroom Kingdom characters so no to Luigi kart.

It's a funny thing to think about but there is no point in making Luigi Kart because it would be JUST like Mario Kart. That'd be like making Luigi Tennis or Luigi Golf. It would utilize all the same characters and gameplay just with a different title.

How would this be any different from Mario Kart DS? The answer being it wouldn't other than the name and the covers. It would be a waste of a time and money if they ever did bring it out. I think they will just concentrate on Mario Kart DS-i next which would be just MKDS 2 to be honest.

I don't see a game called Luigi Kart ever being made by Nintendo seriously...infact, even then I don't think they'd bother doing that for a joke.

I don't like that they made Luigi the cowardly one. They should give him a game where he is actually heroic. When did he start to be portrayed as a coward anyway? He used to be exactly like Mario just taller and green.

Maybe that is exactly the reason why they changed the personality of Luigi. Because he is too similar (or exactly) to Mario and two complete same characters isn't that good so they decided to change it.

To be fair, I think that it is quite good that Luigi contrasts Mario, If they were exactly the same then I'd get bored of Luigi because I'd just see him as Mario in green overalls. I think it suits Luigi to be more cowardly as well, it matches him in games and it added to Luigi's Mansion.

I think it was the Super Mario Bros Super Show but I'm not sure. But really while he is cowardly he is heroic. Mario just fearlessly faces up to anything that threatens the Mushroom Kingdom/World/Universe. It would be much more interesting to see a guy actually scared of something threatening the Mushroom Kingdom/World/Universe stand up to it. And also Mario and Luigi to my knowledge are fraternal twins and really based on that it makes sense that Luigi would pretty much but an opposite to Mario to an extent. That was/is the reason I like the Mario and Luigi RPGs so much: it features Luigi at his finest. He derserves more games in which he's the main hero instead of Mario.

I think it would be stupid to put one of the non main characters in front of the main character for a game. That would be just like calling the beloved series: The Legend of Zelda into a name which I can not comprehend: The Legend of Link, which just sounds stupid, now that you think of it. Actually, I think by that I meant to say that once you've gone along with something for so many years, you can't just change it. Like Super Mario Bros. 3, to Super Luigi Bros. 3.

I do like Luigi more than Mario though, but Mario is the main character of the games( except for that one peach game for the DS) and there's nothing you can really do about it. Nintendo would never just change from Mario to Luigi all of a sudden.

Luigi always has been my fav Mario Character and in the N64 Game on the DS he was everything but a coward. I used him for almost everything and in the kart Games I also play Luigi. So the idea of him having his own Kart gtame sounds good to me. I would definitely buy it.
