Sorry i accidentally typoed its supposed to be most annoying character. Now before you call tingle or navi i would like to say that they are many peoples most annoying characters so they are to be excluded. As though they never existed. Now in my opinion the most annoying character is mido. He just stands in your way and keeps you from pushing on. I have no clue why they named a town after this fart knocker in aol. I just hate him. What about you?

The miniblins in WW. At least thats what I think they are called. The little guys who come crawling out of windows, cracks, holes, cliffs, and portals to hell who always just bother you in big groups. They are not very hard, just really annoying. Especially in the Forsaken Fortress when you lose your sword. I left that place in sheer terror and when I saw them again on Outset, I was pitifully fleeing from the devilish midgets.

I quite disliked the Floormasters form The Wind Waker, the peahats could also be quite annoying.
Even if the FloorMasters where easy to avoid, they still posed a threat if you were attacked by an enemy off guard, causing you to fall back into their grasp.

The Peahats where annoying if you were trying to stop on an island, if they swarmed on you.

These are just some of the characters I found annoying. Or Enemies, as it is.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hated the floormasters especially in the earth temple. So dang annoying. They always grab medli when i'm playing.

For me it is ether Tingle or the owl. The owl just randomly appears to give you pointless info about things you already know or don't care about. And tingle don't get me started. For enemies it would be ether blue bubbles or wizrobes from LOZ. Blue bubbles make you unable to use weapons (annoying), and wizrobes they would not die.

Tingle is the single-most annoying character in any Zelda game that I've ever seen. He's a fairy-obsessed, money-ripping, middle-aged child. It's high time he got a life and moved on.

That aside, I also found Zant (at the end of TP) incredibly annoying. He went from cool bad guy, to pathetic whiny brat in a matter of minutes. He had a lot of potential as a character, but that was quickly demolished with Ganondorf's introduction, when Zant revealed that he completely depended on this "god" of his.

Lets see, my most hated character isn't really hated so much as disliked, and that character is Malo from TP. From the start I didn't really like any of the ordon kids, but every one of them grew on me a little, except Malo.

Malo wasn't really my least favorite character untill I walked inside Malo Mart in Hyrule Castle Town. I heard the Malo Mart theme, and to this day it is the only music track in any zelda game that I actually hate listening too, I literally dreaded going back in Malo Mart after I first went in. The only reason I did go back inside was because I had to buy the Magic Armor to 100% the game.

The music inside Malo Mart was terrible in my opinion, and the fact that Malo owns Malo Mart is really the only reason I hate Malo, but it's enough for me to make Malo my least favorite zelda character.

However, before walking into Malo Mart I would have said Tingle is my most hated character, I actually had a little hate for him in WW, but in MM I thought he fit in the game quite nicely. If only he would have stayed in MM...

You might be surprised Navi ain't on the list, but that's because to you, she made annoying noises. But to me... it was a sign that the N64 was capable of alot of things... Navi made me feel like her friend... those constant shouts helped alert me during my quest to save that annoying princess... those shouts and cries that directed my attention to enemies meant... adventure. The characters I listed are annoying, haughty, minor, unimportant, and overall they just made me feel proud that I can tolerate E.T. and Star Fox 64's teammates.

Ganon isn't that annoying my opinion. He's difficult sometimes (like in alttp and tp) but not annoying.

Zant was funny in my opinion because he reminds me of Fawful from the Mario and Luigi rpg series whom I love for his randomness.

Mido, Ooocoo, Tingle, Ciela, Tatl, Aghanim, and Kaepora, I understand but why Zelda? Granted she gets kidnapped practiaclly every week she's free but why is she annoying? I just don't see it.

Elzo I kinda have mixed feelings about. I found the concept of a living hat that helps you cool but with his outbursts he seems much like navi but latched onto link's head.

Ruto I agree with you on completely (wish she stayed in that fishy's gut).

Midna isn't annoying in my opinion. She hasn't done any navi outbursts and she's also kinda funny. Plus she actually physically helps you in wolf form and even allows you to change into wolf form.

Toon Link I thought was just as cool as any other link (besides Cd-i link and the one in the tv show).

Tetra was very cool in my opinion because she basically breathed new life into the somewhat overused concept of Zelda. Plus she actually physically helps you in the final boss fight.

Also I wpouldn't call every character in tp was annoying. Malo was sure as heck annoying but Colin was kinda cool in my opinion. Then Agitha is ultra annoying (the things she says when she gets a new bug are just plain wierd).

I thought Aryll was cute and sweet (not annoying) and she gave link a brand new 'big brother' element unique to ww.

And Navi I don't really see how you stood her outbursts and such. She gives useless advice and on top of that when she gives you what I deem 'tutorial advice' you can't just skip through it. Plus there were some bosses (ganon and volvagia) that Navi didn't help at all with.

Yes, Navi hands down. Annoying all the time! She would get running her mouth (If fairies had mouths) to attack some where, or go get this item. I mean even after you have beaten the game over 5 times and know what to do! :(

I felt he was made an effective plot piece in MM, as the two or so times I remember him turning up, it was only to add to the plot and either teach me about Owl save points and guide me to a plot relevant item needed to continue in the game.

None of this, "Oh hi, I know you've just started your adventure, but I need to have a seriously long discussion with you" or "Oh hi, I know you're off to see the princess, but I feel compelled to have a lengthy talk to you again" business. The free trip down the mountain that one time was nice though.

OK, with Tingle and Navi out of the way, the award goes to... that annoying Postman from TP! Everytime you had something important to do and just wanted to get from place A to B (usually to Hyrule Castle Town), all of a sudden that annoying #$§* came along, screaming "HEEEEYYYYY!.....*ah*..*uh*..*ah*..*uh*..." and interrupted you on your way. It took forever for him to arrive and leave, and of course you couldn't ever skip that annoying cutscene. Even worse, you were forced to become Hylian Link in that situation so you even had to morph back, what a huge waste of time!
The owl (OoT appeareance) comes close though.

The owl. I'm someone who likes to spam the button to whiz through text and he'd always catch me out several times in the same conversation with his method of switching the 'yes' and 'no'. I also found him annoying by the sheer fact that he'd say things in OoT which Navi would yell at you about anyway.

I liked the owl in OoT, or more I liked his music and watching his head do silly things. ;) I never minded the owl as much in OoT as I did in Link's Awakening where it was a far more frequent affair. I'm actually surprised so many people hate it that much.

Annoying characters... Well my first thought was actually Ferrus from ST. Mostly because I've nearly completed that game so his quests stuck out some. While the idea of carting people across Hyrule was irritating in itself, Ferrus's fanatic attitude just bugged me.

Next I'd probably say the devil and ball people in the Dark World in LttP. If either of them fly your way you're talking to them, even if you don't want to. That irked me.

Beedle in Wind Waker, as well. Probably for the same reason Navi annoyed people on the N64 -- the voice. I honestly don't mind him as much in PH or ST, but his voice in WW was, well, unpleasant to mine ears.

I wanna go with Zelda last, but not all iterations of her. Again I'm more bugged by the ST version, but at the same time she doesn't spend a lot of time being all over-the-place moody and the rat issue doesn't come up all that often, so she's also actually pretty tolerable. It's just odd to consider her alongside other Zeldas like from OoT, WW, TP, or LttP where they have the same determination, but none/less of the crazy.

The characters that most people hate (Tingle, Kapora, Navi, etc.) I've learned to ignore or laugh at. So Tingle is now comic relief and Navi's existance doesn't phase me anymore. Now the most annoying people are certen NPCs and enemies/bosses. A lot of people on Windfall Island are very annoying and talk too much. Especially Maggie's father. Before you save the girls at Forsaken Fortress he's always begging for you help and when you finally rescue her he becomes an ungrateful sob. In The Adventure of Link there where those Knights in the town of Saria that you have to show Bagu's note to so they'll allow you to pass to Death Mountain. The only problem I have with them is the text is unskipable and because of Death Mountain's difficulty you have to talk to them many times. Any ice enemy or dungeon. Constantly slipping and enemies always freezing Link gets really annoying. Any point stealing enemy in AoL. Most people's reactions in Majora's Mask are changed when you wear a mask which can be fun but is usually annoying. It's most annoying in my opinion when you're wearing the bunny hood and you're going to the kid in front of the Bomber's hideout to give the code he says "That's a cool mask" or something along those lines.

The reason for that is most likely that the OP of the thread wanted Tingle and Navi to be excluded :) For my personal opinion about Tingle: He would've been 1000x less annoying if he hadn't repeated his lines (..."don't steal my magic words... blah blah blah") everytime you shot him down in MM. It would've been totally sufficient to let him say it once per save file! I think that's why people have dislikes for characters such as Tingle, Kaepora Gaebora and the TP Postman: They steal way too much time with their redundant messages!

The floormasters in WW were easy to avoid but in the wind temple theirs a room were you have to kill them or else you will not make it across and in the Earth temple you had to kill them all in one room and there were like 5. They were way to hard to hit with the sword I could not hit them and you can't snipe them with arrows because they hide in there hole of darkness and the only way to kill them is to get close hope they don't grab you and then shoot them with arrows unless you somehow manage to hit them with your sword and they take like 10 arrows to beat. My opinion most annoying.

BECAUSE HE CHARGES YOU 398 RUPEES TO TRANSLATE CHARTS IN WW!!! *calms down a little* i had to spend about 10 hours to get all of those rupees, it was even more annoying than finding the charts and getting the triforce pieces. when i first saw him in that jail, i REALLY didn't want to let him out.

I think Tingle may have had at least a touch less hate were it not for exhorting an excess of 3000 rupees from you over the course of Wind Waker. Link should learn to haggle. XD

Anyway, Tingle is supposed to be exempt from the options, so...hard to say, "hate" is a strong word. More like "routinely find annoying." KG is up there with his inability to skip his dialogue, but I like the concept of his character. Mido can be annoying, but he redeems himself with his apology. It's hard to pick someone definitively - they're either too minor for me to exert the energy or have enough characterization that the good outweighs the bad. Guess that's a tribute to the games!

Midna, before she received Zelda's "wisdom" was the most bratty thing I had ever seen. She was always telling Link what to do and she had no remorse for him whatsoever. Once she got Zelda's "wisdom" all that changed and she began to be a very good character, but before that, she replaced Tatl as the brattiest thing I had seen in Zelda.

Anyway, I'd have to say that the most annoying character is certainly Kaepora Gaebora. I'm one of those people that reads really fast, and half the time, don't even want to hear what he's saying. I'm sitting there mashing the A button and he says, "Would you like to hear what I said again?" and the default option is no. That makes me really angry, because I have to listen to his huge rant all over again.

What annoys me even more about him is even if you remember where the option for "no" was last time, they switch around or even sometimes change the meaning of the question, thus making no, yes and yes, no. D: He wouldn't shup up either. Luckily I know how to avoid him at some areas so that I don't have to read him yap on about everything I already know.

And you haters need to stop hating on Navi, most people are doing what I did when I first joined a forum and just joined in with the hate because that's what every other noob in the community hated. She barely makes you have to listen to her, once you leave the Great Deku Tree, I am sure that she doesn't interupt against your will. If you are getting sick of listening to her say random crap about enemies...etc, stop pressing the god damn C-up button and all will be fine.

The Owl! I really dislike his long rambling lines. And yes I went too fast and accidentally pressed the wrong button and yup there he went again........... Another character I strongly dislike is Ruto. I know many like her but she is so annoying telling Link what to do and then force herself up to him getting engaged etc. She didn't even thank him properly for saving her at the end of Jabu Jabu Belly. She was snapping at him. Even years later she was still kinda rude.
