I think it's really cool. I looked into getting one once, but to me, for what is was, the price wasn't right. The design always looks a little... Off, on every single one I have seen. It's something that'd be cool to have, however, I see it as more as an impulse buy, something you'd get without thinking about it, but if you actually stopped and thought, 'is there any point in me having this?' The answer would be no. At least, it would for me.

It's great you got it as a gift though. That way you get a seriously cool Hylian Shield, without your conscience telling you that you could have saved that money or used it in a far more sensible way.

In fact I even have my own makeshift Link outfit (made out of a longsleeve green shirt and a brown belt). So then I can dress up like Link and whack the air with the replica Blade of Evil's Bane.

Okay here's my updated list.

Homemade link cap. It's made of linen.

A Master Sword. It said it was a twilight princess replica but really it's an oot replica. Although it's still pretty cool. It's not sharp on most of the blade but the tip is kinda sharp like the tip of a steak knife. It has a wooden sheath innstead of those cheap leather ones. I just recently got an itch to purchase an ocarina similar to that in OoT and MM. I did my research and found Songbird Ocarinas to be a reputable place to buy ocarinas from.

After much anticipation I received the product after waiting only a week (fast for standard shipping), and over the past three days I've been playing all the Zelda songs I can remember, including Saria's Song, Temple of Time, Shadow's Requiem, Intro, Zelda's Lullaby, Shop music, Song of Storms, and a ton others. I found the ocarina easy to play and beautiful to listen to. Not to mention there's plenty of room for mastering it.

What I was wondering about... How come people pay like 100 USD for some, 10 inch high, dully painted plastic figure? A game that lasts you 100+ hours costs half of that at most!

I you happen to have a collecters edition that coms with extra's, because you just wanted to get the game as quick as possible (having OoT, the masterquest sounds fun), that's OK. But I can't imagine people buying a hylian shield or something.

The $100 OoT cost more and sounds more like the actual sound of the ocarina in the Zelda games, but that fact aside I think mine sounds better. Also it's a lot cheaper than $200. How is the artwork on the Twilight Princess trading cards? Does anyone own them, and would you recommend them? When I was in the Prince of Tennis fandom, I got a lot of those cards - a mix of screenshots, anime-style original artwork, and manga-style art, so anything along those lines will probably make me happy.

Actually, I like artwork in general - anything else recommended?

This is a custom Master Sword shaped NDS stylus. About 4 inches long and made of plastic. I couldn't pass it up even if it does not fit in the stylus pocket.

Now I do own a few more things but I decided to get this started with these.

Those are cool Meego, I had thought of making a spirit flute a while ago. Never happened though.

This is probably my first pice of Zelda memorabilia. Got it many years ago. It is from the Applause set from the late 80's that was mostly various Marios, but there was a Link, Luigi, and Little Mac in the set.

A couple years ago I worked in a mall and I discovered these in a quarter machine by the food court. It was amazing because it was many years after OoT came out and there was this quarter machine full of OoT toys. So every time I got some quarters I and one other employee I worked with would run to the food court and get another one of these. There were a lot more in the set but I only managed to get these three and about five or six poes. Never got young Zelda or Ganondorf.

And the Link bobble head I got from the Nintendo rep on a visit. I always loved it when the Nintendo rep came by because she always had a bag full of Nintendo stuff that she would give to us. Along with all the promotional things she had to drop off each month. She normally had more Mario things but occasionally she had some Zelda things too.

I have no Zelda merchandise besides the games. *sigh* But I figured this would be a good place to ask about it. I have a penchant for trading cards. How is the artwork on the Twilight Princess trading cards? Does anyone own them, and would you recommend them? When I was in the Prince of Tennis fandom, I got a lot of those cards - a mix of screenshots, anime-style original artwork, and manga-style art, so anything along those lines will probably make me happy.

Actually, I like artwork in general - anything else recommended?

My collection is still growing. Just today I got a plain Empty Bottle with a cork, and my Minish Cap Replica of Elzo should arrive in a few days. After that, I just need to get a Majora's Mask "Mask" if they ever come back in stock, and my collection will be complete!

I wish I had some Zelda action figures. I hate myself for being a little kid when they were in stores, no amount of begging could get my parents to buy them for me. I keep hoping they'll bring more out, but I haven't seen any in years.

Here's my stuff, it's more than my mom wants me to have, but nothing compared to serious collectors. Mainly it's just stuff I saw and liked and could actually afford.

I seem to have lost Oracle of Seasons, so I just put the instruction manual there. And I have played and beat Link's Awakening, but it wasn't my game, so I don't have it anymore (hard copy, at least, I have it on VC now). Also I never owned the original NES games, only got to play them on GameCube. I do have an NES, but it just has Mario and Duck Hunt XD

I also have the soundtracks for OoT, MM, and WW, but I forgot them in this picture.
