What is your favorite song from a Zelda game?

My favorites would have to be The Lost woods bgm from ALttP, and the music from inside ganon's castle on OoT.

Really, there are to many choices to choose from, and different styles. Like take for example that Wind Waker was very different from all the other music in the series. But back on topic, I would have to chose from:

Ah, yes that one is one of my many favorites in Zelda. :D

My other ones would include Kakariko Village from OoT, the Dark World Overworld song in ALttP, Stone Tower Temple from MM, Requiem of Spirit from OoT, the opening song from WW, many various songs from TP, and the Game Over song that plays on MC. :)

Gah, throughout the course of the 20 years Zelda has been around, there's been so many great songs that it's hard to single out any one of them. But, I do have a couple favorites that are definitely the best in the whole series in my opinion.

MM - Song of Healing: I can't even explain this one. It just seems...... powerful, if you know what I mean. Like it sets the perfect mood for the entire game

ALttP - The Hyrule Castle Theme: I loved this one. Easily one of my favorites in ALttP. Too bad they ruined it in WW though. I always thought it should be a sinister theme, reflecting true evil. WW made it into some kind of sad slow tune...... It was great to see it back in TP as a truly sinister tune.

OoT/TP - Song of Time: This one really fits the mood of the Temple of Time. It really makes you feel like you've stepped onto sacred ground, and that this place holds something very special. Definitely memorable.

Those are three of them, but I'm sure I like some better that I forgot to mention them here. Like I said, each game had some excellent songs, and it all adds up to a huge amount that's hard to remember.

I hav almost too many to list, I love so many of them! But I think overall the best piece of music for me would be ALtt's Hyrule Castle Theme. Even when i was sort of out of Zelda for awhile after LA and before OoT, I couldn't get this theme out of my head. It's just so adventurous and exciting. It's really too abd that it's become a slower theme over time. Although I love renditions of it like "Farewell Hyrule King" in TWW, the original is still the best. I was glad to hear a few notes of the upbeat version used in TP, so at least I know it's not forgotten!

I have heard something about my 10th one. Some people are having nightmares because of this song. I don't know why, maybe the song is creepy and sad. I never dreamed about the moon will fall. I have something with Ikana from MM, i love the tunes anyway.
Mayor's Meeting was priceless, im happy i have the OST from MM.

Of course it has to be the Wind Fish melody from Link's Awakening. It's such a beautiful Tune, it has such harmony and a master piece. It is also one of my favorite due to that it is a GameBoy song. GameBoys have a notorious reputation for being horrible with sound. (Sometimes)

My absolute favourite is the Song of Storms... So relaxing and just... :D

I've always liked Zelda music. Not so much as it's what I listen to in my free time, but I tend to enjoy it compared to a lot of other video games. I have lots of favorites, so it'd be pretty hard to narrow it down to just a few.

I like most of the boss music that there has been throughout the Zelda series. Wind Waker had some good boss music, my favorite being the Helmaroc King fight. I also enjoyed the Molgera music quite a bit. I liked the generic boss music in MM, the music that was used for all the fights. OoT's boss music is also a classic, especially Ganon's theme. Only a few games had variety in the boss battle music though, like WW and TP. TP's bosses were amazing though. Blizzeta's music is one of my favorite in the series, and Stallord and Armogohma's themes were also notable.

I enjoy many other themes than boss battles. Probably my very favorite is the final hour theme in Majora's Mask. I usually tend to like more uplifting music than this... But this is probably the most epic theme in any Zelda game. It fits the moment so well. It makes that part of the game just that more epic, and I love it.

I thought that as an overall game, The Wind Waker had the best music, closely followed by TP and MM. Though if I was asked what my favorite Zelda Song/Theme was in a life or death situation, where I had to answer, I'd probably go with the final hour theme in MM.

The fact that the song itself is a combination of the Earth God's Lyric and the Wind God's Aria make it even more awesome.

This song was very mysterious, not eerie, so much as straight out mysterious. I would give this a higher rank but it was pretty annoying.

This song was a very nice, soothing, elegant song. Playing it felt good and relaxing, mellow. ec. etc. a very fine serenade indeed.

Clocktown Day I/II/III

This song is very catchy and has a nice rhythm. A nice, happy, song. And the way it speeds up as to dramatize the days passing, a very nice song.

A very strong but subtle nice song. This song would get stuck in your head, but in a good way of course. I find myself humming it when walking down the halls or taking a shower.

This song was pretty creep and forest-y in sound. This did the trick for me to dislike the Forest Temple, not because the song was bad, but again, it was creepy.

Catchy, eerie, dramatic. All the works, I'm sure you heard this one. If you haven't heard the medley from Super Smash Brothers Brawl, you should really get to it. It has a caring, soothing, loving, nostalgic, feeling. It brings sense of belongingness(is this a word?) and romance. it represents the feeling of love.

I love all the music from Twilight Princess, but the ones that really stick out is The Bomb Shop (kind of poka music) Hyrule Lake (very soothing) and Midna's Last Hour. The music where the Duka Tree is in WW I have heard that before at a renassence fair quite a few years ago.

My favorite song is The Song Of Healing, especially when playing it in Majora's Mask. It just adds a really nice background to what's happening. Like... With the girl and her mummified father, Link plays the song, they hug etc :'(

Totally forgot about Oath to Order, I have the orchestral version on my iPod and it is just epic. It just reminds me of the scene near the end of Majora's Mask. and it's one of those songs that isn't like "link is gonna save the day!" it's sort of like "will we even make it?" kinda song.

So many to choose, but for me to choose one it would have to be Ballad of the Wind Fish from Link's Awakening (Majora's Mask f-ed it up). Even on bleeping Game-Boy noises, which was supposed to sound badly, Ballad of the Wind Fish really went into my heart. The tune was beautifully done, and really fit Link's sadness for having to lose the island and, most importantly, Marin.

A runner-up would have to be the theme from the Spirit Tracks trailers. I believe that in the actual game, it plays when you travel to different places on your train.

Another toss up for me lol. Hard to place which song is my all time fave... here's my top 5:

1. Lost Woods (LA) - that song starts off so catchy, makes you wanna pick up a sword and go huntin for moblins!
2. Great Bay Temple (MM) - such a cool beat and eerie keyboard effects.
3. Twilight Theme (TP) - very dark and creepy, I could listen to that song in a bad mood and still feel okay lol.
4. Termina Field (MM) - a classic, they made the song more upbeat from previous titles.
5. Boss Battle (LA) - another upbeat, awesome song for fighting some beasts, everytime I hear it I'm ready to fight!

I defiantly have to say I love and favour the Staff Credits on The Wind Waker. It's just so calming and beautiful. And I love the Stone Tower music off of Majora's Mask. The Molgera battle has great music and it goes perfectly with the fight. The Gerudo Desert music from Ocarina of Time is really great. I love Sheik's Theme, too. Zelda's Theme is so calming. Midna's Lenient is a big favourite of mine. It's so sad. And I couldn't forget the Ending and Credits from A Link to the Past. It's amazing.

10. Ganondorf's organ music. I had a hard time finding a number ten but I have to give Ganondorf his respect. When I heard this music on TP I got way too excited.
9. Overall Zelda Theme Song. Just because my ears perk up when I hear it.
8.Hyrule Field (OoT) It was a nice change to here it for the first time when stepping out of the Lost Woods.
7. Lake Hylia (TP). Extremely peaceful. I could just stare at the lake and listen to that tune. Or go fishing.
6. Saria's Song. If you want to dance to a song in LoZ games, do it to this one.
5. Song of Time. In MM it sounded so mystical and soothing.
4. Zelda's Lullaby. Ah, it takes me back. I'm not sure if I like the remix more (Brawl) or the original but this is very peaceful. Plus they like to add it to background music.
3. Zora Domain (OoT). It's so peaceful and yet jingly at the same time.
2. Song of Storms Remix (Brawl). I love how they jammed up the classic and added a Ganondorf, Shiek, and Link ending with the Boss song and the Serenade of Water.
1. Prelude to Light.(OoT) That has got to be THE catchiest jingle I've ever heard. I used to love needing to travel through time cause that meant I got to play that song. Eventually I recorded it and used it as a ringtone. Good times, good times.

Of all the Zelda games I have played, I have always somehow been attached to Saria's Song or the Lost Woods theme. I don't know why, but that song is just awesome. After Saria's Song would be Goron City from Ocarina of Time. In Goron City, I liked the drums in the song. Then after that would be the Wind Waker theme. That song is just pure awesomeness.
